I went to Antioch's code enforcement department website and the following statement is listed at the top in bold and highlighted "Please note that staffing levels have been drastically reduced and as a result the range of complaints we can respond to is exceedingly limited. At this time, only those situations that pose an immediate threat to life or safety are being investigated." But it doesn't give any numbers or contacts to report safety threats.
So the city ordinance enforcement office isn't willing to do anything about this? They can fine the bank and make them clean it up. If a citizen's lawn looked like this, they would be all over it, so why not hold the bank accountable?
@cesariojpn It's sad to think that is what may have happened, except for the fact of the matter is that there was already tons of other containers with hazardous liquids dumped there!
