  • i heard the crime rate in cobb county has risen since the bossman left

  • the swat gear bossman was an awesome update of his gimmick i remember when he returned to wwf it was a total shock when he took off the mask wcw totaly misused him so i was glad to see him come back and have one more great run in wwf

  • The Big Boss Man makes me want to get my own Nightstick.

  • have you ever taken a trip to Cobb County Georgia

  • @wenzelini I will one day, and visit the cementry

  • I miss these kind of promos from guys coming into the wrestling world!

  • @dietfreeman42718: Agreed, they really do add something.

  • Him and Slaughter would have made a good team.

  • he was great

  • Uh, pit sweat much?

  • @sivazh thats not even a question.

  • @sivazh Umm.. are you a kid?

  • This is why I love YouTube. Thanks MrWrestlingMan.

  • I remember seeing these vignettes of when the Bossman was coming to the WWF when I was a kid. I could never understood why someone involved with law enforcement could be a heel. In the 80's cartoon-era WWF which was aimed towards children, it would have made more sense to make him a babyface. Of course now that I'm older I know about corrupt cops but this gimmick really does seem out of place for that era. I guess you could say it was ahead of its time.

  • @AlbanianMan U cant understand why someone portrayed to be a cop was a heel? welcome from whatever rock u just crawled out from under

  • @BIGACE310 You misunderstood what I said. I said WHEN I WAS A KID, meaning when I was 7 years old I couldn't understand why a cop was a heel

  • Rest in peace Ray Traylor.

  • Edi E.

  • This gimmick was actually a play on Traylor's pre-wrestling life as a prison guard

  • And actually, it was the NWA at the time in 1988, not WCW. It became WCW in 1991

  • I was always pissed that Bossman never revived his Original Look & Gimmick from his first WWF run, coming back in Tactical gear was just not the same, I wish he would've just went back to the ol' Bossman from late 80's & early 90's, I feel it would've still went over well during the Attitude era.

  • @JeffTheFutureJaros Agree. I wanted the same thing. Because he was a veteran by that point, fans would of respected him bringing back his older, more cartoonish Bossman gimmick because he was considered 'one of the old school guys'

  • @AceDagger1 Amen.

  • @JeffTheFutureJaros I remember they teased it once, but it was just that, a tease. Shame he never got the chance to truly reprise the face Boss Man.

  • @EEGAH316 They did? I don't seem to remember them even teasing bringing back Blue Black & Yellow Face Bossman? Cool to know though, thanks for the info.

  • @JeffTheFutureJaros It was a different time and they wanted to freshen up his look. In the attitude era gimmicks weren't as predominant, so making him wear a more modern swat-esk outfit made sense. He wouldn't of looked as intimidating and bad ass in his old attire then.

  • @zzDzCzCzz

I'm just glad itr's available in WWF No Mercy for the N64 (Chuck all your SVRs in the bin, that game still goes hard after 11 years) along with other retro costumes.

  • @Hulk2k6 No mercy is one of the best wrestling games for a home system ever. I still play it to this day.

  • @JeffTheFutureJaros the reason y they didnt have him go with the old look was in his prime boss man was 330-340 lbs when he came back he was only around 280 so the all black puffy swat type out fit kinda hid the fact he was alot smaller but he was still a big man.....

  • This is absolutely Classic, RIP Ray "Big Bossman" Traylor
