  • think this will come out on the xbox? because i lets played the first two...and i wanna do this one

  • is this a good turn-base game? so far pokemon and disgaea series are the only turn-base games I've played

  • decent

  • this game is too slow Imho

  • This game looks fucking retarded, if I don't mind my sayin' so.

  • eh don't care... we're free to express opinions in the internet

  • lol this time hey use a Mobuis Vessle as Eva?

  • i want this game XD

  • I'm glad they finally removed the moving in the fights. I was a bit annoying, but I enjoyed Cross Edge's fighting style and I'm sure I won't regret this purchase once this comes out.

  • I already have the part 1 and 0 now in summer 2012 this is mine

  • I would play the hell out of this game.

  • Vice rock that white coat...

  • does anybody know when does this come out for america?

  • nope

  • @rvlast I actually believe that they have announced it. THought it was Summer 2012.

  • @rtmaplestory1994 just announced for a US an EU release. sometime in summer 2012.

  • @rtmaplestory1994 I checked a few sites and they all say Summer 2012.

  • Hehe. ROAW2 is not REALLY a sequel, I've heard? It's in an alternate universe though, or something.

So Weiss is Leonhardt's counterpart, Eva is Dyshana's counterpart, and the little purple-haired girl (idk her name) would be Ellis' I'm guessing

  • @GryffenPuff oh, I think her name's Alice. That pretty much confirms it then.

  • Actually, said purple-haired girl, Aina, is actually one of the three love interests.

The Ellis of this game is a loli named Fiona.

  • @rvlast Oh, okay thanks. I'm rubbish at getting their names all right ;-;

  • CROSS EDGE anyone ?

  • @lilsabin me >_<

  • @lilsabin Does look like Cross Edge i agree...

But it seems like they improved it quite a lot. i like it, and will definetly buy it :D

  • @rvlast One thing I didnt like about the first ROA:W was that you couldnt select the combination move you wanted and you had to memorize the skills needed, in addition to not knowing what the effect and range of it would be. Even though the grid seems smaller in this game, do they give you the option to pick your combo rather than having to memorize it yourself?

  • hmm.. I think you got that backwards because I know you could look up the combos and effects of the combos themselves in the first game by pressing I believe was the Square button (Y I believe for the 360)

as for this one? you don't need to memorize what the combo is needed, but you do need to realize who HAS that particular combo skill...

I think I really should make a video on how to play this game...

  • @rvlast No, Im talking about linking an individuals skills together to make a combo. I know on the 360 you press Y to get the description of the skill and its range is displayed on the chart, but Im talking about when you link a series of skills together to make a combination attack. The esoteric book tells you what skills you need and its name, but it doesnt tell you what the resulting attack will look like, how many hits it does, or the range of it. Thats the one Im talking about.

  • then yes this game will tell you if that's what you're referring then...

  • @rvlast Thanks.

  • IF ONLY ZERO LOOKED CLOSE TO THIS... im sitll getting agarest war zero regardless.

  • after playing this and will be getting Zero in June 20.. I'll prolly feel a little bit underwhelmed by the graphics... still getting it though of course

  • @Shiner5656

no idea... not announced for the US release yet and Zero's coming out in June 14..

  • wow this game looks amazing, cant wait for the localization.

  • Does anyone else think he looks almost exactly like Leo from the first one?

  • @Shiner5656

Weiss... some people call him Vice, since that's how the characters pronounce it...

    same guy though...

  • what are the differences between this and the first one? I live in America so we obviously don't have this but since we're getting Record of Agarest Zero I assume we'll get this probably in 2012 or something and want to know the main differences.

  • @ModestMouse1207

I currently live in the US as well... so that means I imported the game...

anyways, there are a few things different from the first game:

1 = free roam around the map instead of follow the dots

2 = party members limited to four, but everyone gets exp whether in the battle group or not.... kinda like Cross Edge

3 = lesser party members to choose from... instead of 30+ characters, there are only 18+ characters in this game..

oh and the lag... THE LAG

    D:

  • @rvlast What about the battle system? In the video I saw a few things that looked different. I wish I could read Japanese :|

  • @ModestMouse1207

if you have ever played Cross Edge, then it's similar to that, but at the same time it's not...

how do I explain this... well... it's a little complicated to explain it...

  • @rvlast I can't say I've played Cross Edge :|

  • @ModestMouse1207

only thing I can tell you would be to watch MasterLL's videos about it...

  • instead of wearing a complete covering set of chest armor, she instead chooses to go about the belt above the ta-tas route

    and oh the tropes

  • @ihappy1 see rippy... this is where tv tropes become so important

  • A humanoid naga.
