Very nice job ! Congrats ! One question: what is the big box under the dashboard ? One comment: I prefer the car with black tyres rather than white ones... personal taste !
@liketnliks MGAs are scarce, so you pay more, but MGB's are not, so they are cheap. I got a really nice 78, with some mechanical issues but good body panels for $1,250 dlls. I've spent my weekends having fun repairing the car, It's really worth it.
Google "MG Experience" and read some articles about restoring a classic, get a feeling for what is needed, educate yourself before buying a car and when you are ready, take the big step and get a car, its a great hobby.
Nice video I had a 1600 MkII it was great. Close ratio gerabox from new black and light tan interior. I loved driving at 50ish around the country lanes of West Sussex and Surrey. I have a TR8 now but miss my old MGA
awesome. how much did you spend on the entire restoration? curious because i am looking to restore the same model and want to know how much it might cost me...
This is one of the best classiccar restoration project indeed. I own an MGA 1500 too, wish I had mine on vdo as well. 5 stars posting. Thanks for sharing.
this car is reallly awesome, and watch your "mafiossso" face make me crazy toooooo... I miss you man, tanta gente ha tanti soldi e se li tiene nel materasso...Bravo te che li spendi...e Great car veramente, all the best man.

whats the song with the trumpets again right before you start your MG? Very nice car/job by the way, congratulations. My car is a BMW 3,0 CS from 1974.. but I didn't have the time or knowledge to fix it myself so..respect!!

Lovely car, and you really made a great job of filming the restoration, if I had tried that my camera would have been stolen, well done.

Hi, nice vid. But why are your tail lights horizontal instead of vertical like all the other MG-A's i know. Is this a mk1 or mk2?
dtomassi17 4 years ago
MGA 1600 MK2
misterspyder 4 years ago
@misterspyder MKII's only had horizontal tail lights
101ypk 1 year ago
The MGA Mk II had horizontal tail lights - prefer the single multifunctional vertical ones on the 1500 Mk1
