It always intrigues me how people forget about San Jose, let alone know that it's the US' 10th largest city. I've often considered it a suburb on super steroids. I could be in the minority on that one though. haha This looks like a brisk, fun drive when traffic cooperates. I'm also amazed by the lack of development along the freeway. Great video!

@rockersk08: Yes, and the reason I cut it "short" is because I don't have any footage of US 101 (from the Flip, that is) between San Jose and San Mateo. Hoping to work on my Golden Gate Bridge and Marin County footage soon.

Like I said before: great video! I always go on this freeway and it's nice to see it on film! I hope you do 101 in the Prunedale area as it is very interesting (yet dangerous and curvy)

@daryl380: Thanks a lot. The factual error about San Jose really bothered me to the point that I felt I needed to correct it. As for 101 through the Prunedale area, I didn't get a chance to record it last time, but I'll see if I can get on film when I come up during the Christmas holiday. That is indeed a very interesting stretch of Highway 101. Thanks for watching. :-)
