This is the Marvin Berry & The Starlighters version. The version everyone thinks is the temptations is the penguins. The acapella was just in the temptations movie, and that wasn't the temptations. It was a shadow band for the movie. This version from back to the future is a fictional character (portrayed as chuck berry's cousin) known as Marvin Berry. The starlighters were a real band, but the name in this case is just a coincidence.

The forced proper pronunciation is a bit uncomfortable in their early work though this is a great, great classic.
