I don't like that this trailer suggests that the killings were justified, 'asked for'. It doesn't show any of the young boys running away and getting shot in the back. It doesn't show Bernie McGuigan waving his white handkerchief and getting shot. It just shows the 'young hooligans' throwing stones and provoking the paras.
@siobanethier Actually if you watch the film, there is alot to suggest that the killings were unjustified, this was actually a very accurate portayal of the events that took place on bloody sunday, all based on witness statments and actual bloody sunday footage .Watch he end with the press conference where the character James Nesbitt plays say's " Because of the atrocities carried out by the British paratrooper regiment, they have now given the IRA justification to carry out their campaign ."

Hey,every country has their shame. We've all done bad things. Why do we have to put the blame on one place? Some Brits committed terrible crimes in expense of the Irish. Just as the Nazis(not all Germans were bad!) committed horrid crimes against the Jewish and others(sometimes it's forgotten it wasn't just the Jewish). During the troubles the british governments policy was perfectly reasonable. Bloody sunday was one atrocity during a thirty year war. I'll have to look that up!

there was no reason for them to open fire we made a legitimit and peacefull request for basic human rights and the brits responded with murder this could not have happened if we hade a united ireland but it just shows what the brittish goverment thinks of the people they say are theirs. some people are so stupis and im talkin bout my own irish people here. the march on bloody sunday wasnt for a united ireland it was a march for equal rights in jobs housing and political matters in Northern Ireland. The march was organised by NICRA the northern Ireland civil rights association, founded by john hume and ivan cooper, the latter is a protestant who saw that catholics were being discriminated against and had a good enough heart to do something about it. read a history book twats..
