The scoreboard looks SO MUCH BETTER now that it's now been freshly painted & they've redone the numbers & lettering. I've got games that I recorded since 1982, & the way the scoreboard looked back then, it's "so bare" & the style of numbering & lettering they used in those days looked so crappy, compared to how beautiful it is now!

Since the Cubs still play many of their home gays during the day, while most other Major League teams play at night, aren't there a lot of days when the Cubs' game is the only one going on (meaning that the out-of-town scoreboards don't have to be updated)?

I took a tour of wrigley field. They actually have a "piss pole" painted green. kinda like peeing down the tube at your park of choice as a kid. It looks like a support pole for the scoreboard itself and runs under the bleachers. So they can go between innings if they have to pee or whatevr else.
