@im1greatman you are wrong, we need powerfull cores, not a shitload of weak cores. a very powerfull single core could manage to play crysis 1 and I think this is what intel is trying to achive, I mean AMD already have 8 cores that are as powerfull as the quad cores from intel. not to say that most games are not multi core optimsed

Dude.. speed isnt the only advantage of having more cores. If properly multi-threaded, a weaker dual/quad core processor consumes less power than a single powerful core. Less heat means less power means longer battery life.

As far as i'm concerned , window OS is dead. I can make a laptop running linux and install a chrome browser on it . whala , there you have a chromebook with the ability to run any programming language.

Its an ATOM in the phone, not an ARM processor. So its basically 2x more powerful than all the dual core phones we have now. More cores is not always better.

I think that Intel entering the mobile game is a good thing as it will be competition for ARM but I doubt that they will be significantly better than ARM. I have seen games like this on phones for quite some time now.

Apple unless they are high will ever put an Intel chip on anything running iOS.

I liked the way it moved; you couldn't have seen the difference between playing a normal console and the phone (except graphics, but can't expect crisp textures or 5.0 shaders) but decent, worth buying a phone with this processor in it.

people still don't get it... single or duo and GHZ does not matter. It only matters on the argitecture of the processor. If you don't know, the 2nd gen i7 quad core beat the FX series 8cores easily and by far!

@johnchen0213 This is what I tell people all the time. They just never listen. i7 2600k (Quad Core) beats the FX (Eight Core) processor any day. It was just the hype that AMD created with that CPU that is making me switch it Ivy Bridge this coming March.

how do you market the architecture? unless you look at benchmarks(which the general public does not do) you wouldn't know what to expect. most people do not compare all the different phones on the market until their eyeballs fall out so they rely on big numbers and big displays.

His no lag and frame rate drop claim is quiet off. I noticed a mass murder of frames when the wall exploded in game, and for comparison, my Nexus S (Far SLOWER processor then this) has NO issues with that same exact game. In this day and age, and from Intel of ALL people I am extremely unimpressed.
