i saw this on rage this morning and the bass part just blew my mind. i know its not overly technical or anything but the groove and the feel to it just was incredible
The song is a cover by some relatively unknown American band with Male C,S,N&Y type harmonies. One of those rare instances when the cover is way better than the original
Whups - Seems it's a James Taylor song. The version I heard elsewhere must have been a cover also. Shame they never released this commercially, on record, C.D. or otherwise.
Where did you get this. Used to love watching G.T.K. as a 13 y.o. Wonderful stuff! Would like to see more artists like Buffalo & Band of Light (Please!)
This is how Janis Joplin would have sounded if she could sing.

Does anyone know anything about that amazing bass player? Wikipedia says it is David Lindsay, but I can't find anything else about him.

There is a version of this J.T. song by MERRY CLAYTON that takes some beating, tho Renee does it proud .
And BETTYE LaVETTE'S cover of RENEE'S own song "HEAVEN [The Closest I'll Get ]" is a killer as well.

It ws written and performed by James Taylor on his Sweet Baby James album. Renee does a great job with any song..most of the time.

Their used to be a lot of Buffalo clips on G.T.K. & Band of Light as well. Even when both these bands swapped guitarists.

All releases by both bands are now available as aztec re-releases
