  • YOU HAVE TWO OF THEM!!!!!!!!!

  • @tylersteffen200 Not any more.

  • I think it may just be but I think one of them is more high pitched than the other.

  • Where did you find those?

  • @Mrslater0011 Sherman Texas, Pine Bluff Arkansas

  • cccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooolllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll.

  • I think one of these would be great in a theatre pipe organ! Most Wurlitzers had several federal sirens in the pipe chambers in the fox theatre organs.

  • @EstateManor Yeah. They already have the air supply there in the organ!!

  • Ha ha, I'd rather have you as a neighbor rather than my current ones, they have roosters that won't shut up. I'd pick tornado sirens over those stupid birds any day. :-)

  • Your neighbors must hate you :-)

  • @LFLLiberty For the 586th time. My neighbors don't even hear these things.

  • @vanamonde2 haha

  • thats crazy lol

  • @MichaelJavert13 thats why i have headphones

  • Should you be wearing hearing protection? This can make you deaf from 2 to 3 minutes exposure

  • @SuperUTBER You can't tell how loud it is from the video. Yes I probably should be wearing protectors but both of these sirens running together aren't as loud as an average rock concert. With them both running like this it's not even loud outside the garage. There is very little air moving through the choppers when running them like this. Notice on my videos where I have any air going through the choppers at all I'm wearing hearing protectors.

  • @SuperUTBER The Ark 1003 has a towel in the horn.

  • So the check valves on the blower determine on how much air goes into the chopper? And thats why the Sherman 1003 is higher-toned than the Arkansas one?

  • @cweis127 He's not running these with the blowers on (if he was he'd blow his eardrums). The choppers on these 2 sirens are spinning at different speeds.

  • @Thewoog34 Oh okay...

  • @MichaelJavert13 Well first of all I'm not - blowing civil defense sirens- I'm in a closed garage running only the choppers on the thunderbolts. It's not as loud as a 100 watt Marshall amp with a 4x12 cabinet would be if it was turned half way up. I only do this on weekdays when the neighbors are at work so I really doubt if any of them have ever heard me do it. The Model 5 i have run in my garage is full volume but again I only do it on weekdays when everyone is at work and it's sunny out.

  • @MichaelJavert13 Get into trouble for what?

  • @MichaelJavert13 Dude, don't like it don't watch it. Quit complaining and such a lie you made up.

  • how does it modulate the pitch?

  • @ArduinoAlan It uses solenoids to alternately close the high and low pitch sections of the chopper. I have another video up that shows how it works.

  • Can you make a Thundebolt 1003 do alternate wail?

  • The top siren is an Irish music maker.

  • sound like the thunderbolt are trying to make music hehe

  • 47 seconds in is the wierdest sound ive ever heard in my life

  • @AcaAllertor127 Yeah that is weird. It's right before they get in sync.

  • is one running on 240 and the other on 120?

  • @rhett443 No both are running on 240.

  • @vanamonde2 If there both on 240 then why does one sound low and one sounds higher pitched?

  • @rhett443 I should have said that both control panels are hooked up to 240. The Sherman 1003 chopper is running on 210 and the Arkansas 1003 chopper is running 170.

  • hi eric do you remember me i emailed you about the mini tbolt and sweet vid ps my name is scott

  • @thunderboltlover The blower the sherman horn rotator is on is from Dallas. The camera is sitting on the blower frame from Arkansas. The frame is sitting on it's end. You can see the blower box from Arkansas at 1:38 in the video. It's standing on end. The siren isn't from Little Rock. It's from some small town around Pine Bluff. I can't remember what town.

  • Nice Vid!!!

  • that was cool, i love the pitch difference between the the sirens

  • no blowers of course, your garage might explode!

  • wow that was great I love it when they were running in sync like they were vety nice sounding 1003's you really give them the tlc that they need

  • Why didnt you power the rotators?

  • @TheFiremansavage I'm afraid if he did that the horns would smack into eachother.

  • @keoghjacob actually they would of hit other stuff not eachother

  • @TheFiremansavage Not enough room and the ark 1003 isn't mounted to anything to allow the rotator to run with the horn attached.

  • @vanamonde2 yeah thats true, ever tried running them outside where there is enough room?

  • @TheFiremansavage I don't have the Ark horn rotator mounted to anything so I can run the rotator. I just got the chopper and solenoids put together yesterday on the Ark 1003. I haven't had time to do anything else with it. It wouldn't be worth the trouble to drag all that outside anyway.

  • wow they sound perfect together long live t-bolt

  • @musicistabest and also another great recording vanamonde2
