this show was ahead of its time------this was right before AI took over, and right before talent shows became all the rage....the funny thing is most singers on AI try and sound like Mariah Carey, its amazing to me how all the judges on AI seem go gravitate twards the mriah careyseque vocalists---- well i guess thats what heppens when you have judges who have no clue what a good singer is ie: J-lo, paula abdul....

I remember watching this on TV when I was 9 yers old. It was ten o'clock. My aunt walked in and said "She didn't hit the high note." I diidn't know what she meant at the time. I always loved this performance. Most memorbale one on this show for me.
