@sinceremalevolence He lost his grind half way through the show. He knew his voice was going out so he tried to switch up tones. Alot of singers do it when they feel that roughness in their throat. He probably could have done it, but he would have destroyed the rest of the show. High grinds are a bitch to sing all night.

I wasn't sure what they'd do for live shows. Children Of Bodom has different albums with different tunings and simply keep different guitars that are in different tunings with them for live shows

Children Of Bodom guys have different guitars in different tunings, because their guitars have Floyd Rose tremolo system, which are a hell to tune. It takes too long to tune from drop C to standard D a floyd rose guitar, that they could do that live. Its just lot easier to have four guitars, two backup guitars and two, which are in different tunings.
