  • Being a Vet who has been using the VA for my Health Care since discharge, I'm sure that if these ad's go into detail about the type of care given the Vets I'm gonna be one very Pissed Veteran.

  • As a disabled veteran who has been out of the military for over a year now, It only took SIX months to get my intial rating and from what I hear from other veterans that was what they called lighting fast. I am barley able to feed my kids, but god forbid I am unable to goto one of my off campus classes cause I have no gas money (bought groceries instead). You take that back the very next check. Start using Youtube, we dare you and the vets' silent war with you is going to get very public.

  • Tell ya what, I'll send them to VA when the VA learns to stop bouncing them around and starts providing their benefits WHEN they need them!

  • The DD214 is a Letter of Credit (LOC) it is the least acceptedcredit rating in Banking...Its time to write Sen BobCasey (ANon-Vet) on the banking committeeand to get more banks have veterans sit on the boardsof banks...

feel the wave as the dd214 is a "potential banking investment certificate..for a home or start-upof a small business. The greater veterans come together withg a group of DD-214's the greater the banking package regardless of credit group two or three vets ratings into one....

  • @AlumniVeterans The DD214 is not a letter of credit. I have been filing corrections on mine for ten years. Now, you need your DD214, birth certificate, and taxe records to have 3 forms of identity. This "bright" idea is used to verify SSN records, DOD records, and State DL records just to prove veteran status. God forbid a house fire that wipes out everything owned, because the Red Cross will only give you $75 to recover.

  • The current VA home loan program is negated by local "banking overlays" that does not garentee you the veteran a home loan. You must meet the "normal lending credit score" for a conventional loan. The VA Home loan program just garentees the lender the VA will be responsible for the loan if you default. You the borrower have to be worthy of the loan.

  • @4pawseod You are correct sir, also new vets should know that they average your three scores to find the score they will use for the loan. It does not matter if two of your scores meet the requirements if the third score lowers the average enough they will deny you. I love how these commericals are making sure you apply for your benifits they have been promising you since basic training. Then when you do all you get is a hit on your credit. I see now why they have a link for homeless vets.

  • They are all heroes!

  • Much respect! You all defend us at the risk of your own lives. The only sacrificial act that comes close...is the death of Jesus Christ to save all humanity. I thank you! I know the memories during this Veterans' holiday may be bitter-sweet. We recognize your sacrifice and the loss of dear friends met on the battlefield. Your time, your sweat, your tears, your pain...were not in vain. You kept America Free! We can live freely...because of YOU! Thank you.

  • None of us would be here if it weren't for the Veterans; say thank you to a Vet; this is why you have your freedom.
