wow, jeans, a faded t-shirt, and a monster unibrow. What happened to these days where music was actually about music and not about looks. This needs to come back... Things are going the wrong direction.
I Grew Up Listening To Alabama, My Grandma Was A Huge Fan Before She Passed Away In 1996, She Took My Brothers To Go See Them Before I Was Born, I Love This Song,Cant Believe 28 People Disliked It, It's Great, Describes My Life Perfectly, Especially After I Found Out I Had Cancer Back In July!
Seen Alabama in concert 4 times in the 1990's, thats how great they were everytime left us wanting to see them again, and we bought tickets everytime they came to Spokane. To this day cant think of a concert that was better.
i dedicate this tune today to my girl annie b who passed away xmas eve after a brave battle with cancer...i'm in a hurry to get things done oh i rush and rush until life's no fun...love you crazy annie...hope its 5oclock at the pearly gates...godspeed girlfriend
@tearinguplincoln there is a way, add the song to a playlist when listening to a playlist you can have the entire list on repeat and if its only one song....
@TheDrewcifur Amen! Glad to see a younger generation that understands Good country. And I'm not really a huge country fan, but this is good stuff. Today it's all the same stuff. Sing about love. Sing about breaking up. Sing about life on a dirt road. Even though most back roads where I grew up in rural Tennessee were tar and chip. But I digress. Great song!
@Ace80forever when i hear someone refer to talyor swift as a country singer it makes me want to puke. i love the older country music. very little past the year 2000 is really country. and what is up with kids my age liking rap? is there a worst form of music? i know what you mean about dirt roads.... where i grew up if the roads where dirt then the roads would be mud for 11 months of the year.... i was raised in SE ohio btw...
@Ace80forever thats where i live now. i wish there were more jobs in marietta or caldwell.... i live in the city of westerville now. its ok for a suburb....
@tommylehman can you please explain this? I have worked for Multi million dollar companies my entire life and have not or will not consider my self a "slave"
@NWFWMbudwieser God Is a capital G not lower case, God wants us to beleive in him and do his will which is outlined in the New Testament, and doing so it wont always be be happiness.
@btb003 Fuck all religion. If there is going to be a God, let there be one, or let there be none. And I believe in the God that accepts anyone that's not a killer, or a big time thief.
@NWFWMbudwieser Because God has to fit nice and neatly in your finite, little box. It's sad. God isn't who you want Him to be. He is who He will always be. If you don't like it who care. You can't change him to conform to your finite, little box. He is infinite with knowledge of things you cannot fathom nor would you desire to think about them.
And this song is amazing. Alabama will always be a favorite.
This song is kinda of Alabama's secret tribute to Poco. Any Poco fan can recognize the song's energy and drive, harmonies, guitar work (solo and rhythmn parts) and choral interlude. Fun, Fun song! One of Alabam's very best.
love alabama my dad drives truck he owns his own company he told me along time ago he ate breakfast with alabama the morning after one of there big shows in texas he listens to all of there music and still remembers that one great morning with the guys
this is so true! my dad died of cancer almost 2 years ago and ive learned to slow down. life is too short to argue with a sibling or get mad so easily
The song has a lot truth to it. Maybe all the rushing we do is a lot like a hamster on a wheel. We go like hell and never get anywhere. Fortunately I heard the song years ago and have done the opposite and have gotten MY life back.
Alabama is my favorite band. Its the only thing i have left that my dad and i shared. i went to there Farewell Tour in MN and i cried when my daddy told me this was the last concert for me. I will never stop loving Alabama.
The irony is that there's no hurry if we think about the needs in front of us. I've actually applied this slower approach, and become more productive and profitable for it.
i would love to see new singers do videos like this.....

@azerath93 Well I know you aren't American, considering you can't speak english properly.
1) 'Aint' is not a word.
2) You cannot posses the word "un-American". You should have instead said "you're".
3) Notice the correct form of "un-American", as seen in bullet point two.
fearsadness14 11 months ago
@fearsadness14
If you wish to be condescending I suggest you pick up a dictionary published in the present decade. Aint is now accepted lexicon.
