  • There are no easy answers and I was feeling angst long before the punk movement began. It is not that one generation has any more insight into these problems than another. Movements and the leaders of these movements come and go. There are people that listen, or are on the same path and they become friends and colleagues. Having our own experiences and insights is the key, for it is in this way our unfolding story comes into play which we can share with others-- mistakes and successes alike.

My generation was supposed to be born into the world envisioned by the visionaries of places such as Millbrook. I guess its no surprise the punk scene emerged to channel the anger of a generation that was supposed to inherit a better world. How sinister the corporate media and powers that be are for teaching people my age the 60's were a mindless failure.
