  • This is just great! I'm sixty years old and I'm only just now hearing Stompin' Tom's songs. I'll bet not one person in a hundred here has even heard of him. Damn, but this guy is real! His music is a welcome contrast to all the phony, overproduced bs that passes for music these days. A true original.

  • @willyleeman - Well... it's nice to hear that you're enjoying Tom's music!

He's been a Canadian legend for many years.... but never became

known very well over in the U.S.A.

  • Thank's to Mary, Carl and Tommy, They taught me it's real cool to love Canada. R.I.P. , SEE YA SOON...

  • Thank you for this. Tom sang it during his 2010 western Canadian tour. I heard it live in Dryden. A fantastic show and Tom sounds better every time I hear him. He is truly a Canadian legend. Someone should start a following to help iron out the past in regards to the Canadian Government. Tom deserves only the best recognition and it should start with the Canadian Government. Peace & Love :)

  • Stomping Tom you are the BEST....

  • we saw him in halifax and we stood up and clapped for a while and he cried a little

  • awesome, saw him in saint john!! best concert ever, i think it was because that is his home town

  • @thebeatles4ever3 umm skinners pond in PEI is his home town

  • @chrissept21 no he was born February 9th, 1936 Saint John, New Brunswick,he stayed there til he was 3 then his mother took him through nova scotia and quebec and then they returned back home in saint john, and then the law took tom and put him in " Children's aid society" in saint john.then when he was 8 he was adopted by the Aylward family in skinners pond, Prine Edward Island. So since he stayed in saint john for 8 years and P.E.I. for only 5 Saint John is considered his home town. :)
