Actually, Jacky could speak Mandarin from a since he was very young, his mother was from TianJin. I know in a lot of his early songs he pronounces some words a little strange but I feel this is just a singing style unlike Jay Chou's early work which barely passes as mandarin lol.

Fair enough... I was just joking -- actually I'm quite sure he speaks Mandarin better than me (although that's not the case with all Hong Kongers, I can assure you...), but he does have a pretty distinct Cantonese accent. Thanks for the biographical info about his mother... you learn something new every day!

no problem, your pronunciation is better than alot of Chinese I have heard sing. I know what you mean about hk people.
