@MrYellowlabs You are so funny! Actually, I've always wondered if my love of CF comes from my babyhood and early childhood when she was so popular. I have no memory of her at that time in my life, though. I first learned of her in 1973 when I was 12 years old - she appeared on a Dick Clark TV special and I was immediately riveted by her voice. I've been a fan ever since!

You were born at the very height of "Connie-mania"....at a time when she was turning out hit songs with the precision of a Coca-Cola bottling plant assembly line! So, yes, I do believe your babyhood predisposed you to become a CF fan. The seed was planted in `61...the flower bloomed in `73.

I genetically inherited the "Connie-gene". My Dad was nuts about her in the `60`s. Thanks to video, she`s now doing the exact same thing to me!

I find myself back here, once again, to view this video. Can't seem to stay away for too long (I fear this is bordering on obsession, and I may have to seek psychiatric counsel - lol). There isn't enough space to state the remarkable abilities CF possesses as a vocalist, and interpreter of song. She hits every mark, on every level (phrasing, range, vocal control, gestures, I could on and on). In the end, Connie Francis remains as one of the worlds most amazing, and mesmerizing vocalists.

I loved the movie Born Free and this song. This is another great post! It is a shame to lose your views and start all over. I look at the views sometimes when I am trying to decide what video to make next. Sometimes I have to just decide that I do not care about the views, and make what I want to make even though it may not get many views. I still need to make a Connie video.

@cwoodn HI! So glad you like it. I tried to make it as clear as possible. The color was hard to work with, though....still, it looks pretty good! Regardless of how it looks, her singing in this track just kills me - she is incredibly powerful and poised here. Really at the top of her game. It's one of my favorite performances by Connie.
