Thanks so much for you tut. I would like to know if you could email me and let me know how to make motion mixer actor move on the time line, for example: I have a walk cycle of 36 frames and would like to use MM to increase the frames, but I want the actor to move, not just stay in one place...please email me
This tutorial wouild have been better if you didn't use so many PRE-setup items: since the actor and the motions have already been made, the viewer doesn't know how they are entered into MM. This isn't the whole process. <8^(
can you connect an offseted walk cycle that is repeated with a post repeat option, to another walk cycle that is slower, and continue at the point it ended-!! I cant find how to do that-!!
If you use the repeat option, you will NOT be able to blend it with other motion clips correctly. Youe only option then is to add enough instances of the walk cycle to the Motion Mixer timeline to cover the time. You can stretch each instance of the walk cycle to be as fast or slow as you want.
Hey bug i found out what was causing the problem apparently theres a bug in motion mixer that causes bones with names like spine(1) and spine(2) to cause problems when re-loading a motion so if using motion mixer give more specific names to bone! like spine_chest or Spine_ribs
Right. I forgot about that one. When I encountered that bug it did not cause the head to stretch but for all the bones to clump together,so I did not figure that was your problem. Glad you found the answer.
Good tut, but i have an issue i was wondering why when i create a motion, save it, and re-open the scene and my characters head was streched out in the motion? why is that
great lightwave tutorial! 2 question tho...if i had set key frames in frames 1 to 40 to do one revolution of a walk cycle for a character. And i want to repeat this cycle how do i loop it? and do i do this using motion mixer too?
Once you have a motion clip created, you can cycle it by right clicking on the clip and selecting "Post Behavior", then selecting "Repeat". I show this in other Motion Mixer tutorials.

I haven't encountered that problem you mentioned. Maybe you changed the Rest Length of the bone after you created the motion clip?
