Saw Bruce in 1981 at the Meadowlands Arena in NJ...3 straight hours of solid rock. Final encore song: Twist and Shout. I remember it vividly to this day. Great job editing in the other concert footage, it really gives a sense of what his shows were really like in the early 80s.

I'm a pro rock musician myself and the guitarist in my band amoungst other axes plays a very old Tele' a 1965, a bit battered but still a great sound. Bruce's 1949 model must be one of the very first made, now here a question for you do you know how many times he has had it re-fretted in that time !!!!!!!

Bruce axe is a Fender Telcaster, the esquire version is I'm fairly certain a fairly recent "sub spices" of the Telcaster. How old it is I wouldn't like to say but 1953 sounds a bit suspect, it looks a bit too good for that.
