I often day dream about opening my mom's cancer hospital. She was a huge Springsteen fan probaly his biggest ever, and I want him to play in celebration of the opening, dedicating Born to Run to her. She'll be watching from heaven in disbelief! Don't worry mom were close to that day!
Saw Bruce in 1981 at the Meadowlands Arena in NJ...3 straight hours of solid rock. Final encore song: Twist and Shout. I remember it vividly to this day. Great job editing in the other concert footage, it really gives a sense of what his shows were really like in the early 80s.
Happy Birthday, Bruce! The visual editing midway through this video is incredible...one of the best mixes I've ever seen. The sea of waving arms at "highway's jammed with broken heroes" is still breathtaking.
Bruce is one of the best artists of all time. Amazing concerts! He turns 60 today. Happy birthday:D 40 years in the game.. I hope for 40 more:) Best wishes from Norway...:)
Forget about U2, forget about queen.... the Boss is the ultimate essence of rock n roll.He redefined the whole 80's and his music still seems as new as ever. For me Bruce is the most influential artist of all time and the most significant act in rock n roll after the Beatles.
This tour must've been amazing, look at how active those massive crowds are! Not to mention the band's crazy behaviour on stage! I've yet to go to a concert that has even near the same kind of atmosphere like some of the clips shown in this video!
this song represents so many people so well. this song makes me dream high. im in an usigned english rock band fcalled the brink and live in a dead end town where people seem 2 beleive they cant make anything with there lives, and its songs like this that give inspiration n hope 2 dream bigger

Oh wow, Nils Lofgren had one of these impossibly UGLY jagged-form, flashy-painted guitars. :D Don't look at it, it may distract you from seeing one great rock guitarist. *g*
Bono once said that standing infront of drummer Larry Mullen every night was like getting a good kickin'.With a power drummer like Max behind him ,it's a wonder Bruce is still standing!!!
