If you have ever been to Disney's Animal Kingdon, then you would be familiar with the "Expedition Everest" roller coaster attraction. The setting of that specific ride is also that of a gloomy, cold, and gray nature. The thrilling, mountain-like experience is not hindered by Orlando's sunny atmosphere. If designed and constructed correctly, Harry Potter World will no doubt be a hit, and it's dreary qualities will still be effective.

It's cool that they are building this Harry Potter theme Park but I have been to Florida when I was 9 and it's very sunny and it does not snow!That England Atmosphere with the gray sky and fog would of fit better with the theme park. It's going to be very sunny and colorful like Universal Studios instead of Gray and foggy. It doesn't even snow there.There are alot of Universal Studios in the world, LA,TOKYO,UNITER ARABS Emerits(coming soon!)!Built one in bloody ole ENGLAND!PLEASE!

I live 2 hours from there and i go like everyother weekend and stay on-site. Theyy used a portion of the Lost Continent and Jarssic Park( excuse my spelling). They took out the flying unicorn and the restaurant that the trunk was a face infront dueling dragons. Its nothing much yet but they got a huge building that'll probably be Hogwarts or not i dont know. But they should make a rollar coaster. Theyre making one at universal studios but i think its vurtual. Not for harry potter but in general.

It really annoys me that anything good always happens in in another country. Euro Disney is in france and now harry Potter that is set in England in the films goes to florida. Why does nothing good happen in ENGLAND and I don't mean the olympics. I do love florida but not everyone can afford to go every year and they should have had a special train from London to Hogwarts...what a journey that would have been.

PrincessStingy florida is a vacation spot it has nothing to do with where it was set. florida is home to seaworld, aqautica, disney world, wetn'wild, universal studios, and many more. besides they can build more than one don't be stingy. lucky for me i have like an hour and a half drive.

I'd have imagined a ride like Splash Mountain in florida except the boat looks like the ride in the first movie where Harry gets his coins. then there's a dip or something. I hope it's good and you don't just walk around it in 20 minutes (if you didn't ahve to wait in line for the ride)

i think that if its done right it can be a great attraction. People are saying that it dosent snow in florida, its called fake snow. Also people are saying its not going to be has authentic because its not in england. Have u been 2 animal kingdom,has soon as u enter the asian themed area u forget ur in orlando. Anything can be done,fake snow,mountains,everygreen forest, props. But if they rush construction it can come out **cked up.

I'm sure this wont end being the only HP themed park ever built in the world... and also just because something has a British origin doesnt mean it needs to be built in Britan. Lets just hope Universal keeps up the facade with good attention to detail and maybe hiring people to work in the area who can speak with a real or very convincing fake British accent.

I think it will be awesome. Jurassic Park is my fav part of the park. It feels just like the movie, so I have no qualms about this park being built. I am a huge fan of the books, and still don't mind. Universal Studios always makes me happy.

I think they're just going to ruin the book and movies by making a theme park. It wont seem so magical and thrilling anymore if they make it into an actual place, let alone a theme park.

i dont think there will be :( i read that there was going to be hogsmead, hogwarts, and the forbidden forest. it also said something about thrill rides to make you feel like you are there, food, and other realistic things. i cant wait!
