  • Finally someone made a decent KMX Cobra video, this is great and convinces me to get one. Can you tell me how you find it on rough trails? I do worry a little about the very stiff looking frame on my local rocky rutted trails.

  • @TheAegisClaw You will LOVE a Cobra. As far as rough trails, the biggest draw back is the width. Also...it's not a bicycle and handles very different then a bike. You can't stand up on the pedals to absorb jolts. Nothing beats a rough trail like a fully suspended Mtn bike....but for comfort and pedaling efficiency this design is impossible to beat. I would say it won't perform well on a REALLY rough trail just because it has 3 wheels and the steering is different . Thanks for watching!

  • @iwantthisfuckingname Thanks, i have a full sus MTB, and i'll be keeping that for the really rough stuff. I notice you're still using the standard flat pedals, i was thinking maybe SPD type pedals might be good for the KMX as you could relax you legs without your feet falling off the pedals, and there's no need to put a foot down everytime you stop anyway.

Also, what's the rear handlebar for in your last KMX video?

  • @TheAegisClaw Clip in pedals might be a good idea. The rear handle bar is so I can walk too. sometimes i like to walk parts of the trail and the handle bar makes it easier. Also allows me to steer while pushing by pushing to one side or the other.

  • @echoes707 Thanks! I love my Cobra. KMX builds a sweet machine! I've added a few more cool gadgets. I'll do a video update soon.

  • That is SO AWESOME! GREAT JOB!
