  • Turn Left then at the end of the road Turn Left... Turn Left then Turn Left

  • thanks for the demo :)

  • iPhone 3GS : £280

    TomTom SatNav app: £60

    iPhone car kit: priceless

For everything else there's a jailbreak

  • does this car kit also work with other gps apps on the iphone?

  • is there a more minimalistic design carkit? a gigantic clamp and suction cup just doesnt look right in my beemer :p

  • lol i thought he was gonna crash at 3:14

  • @TheYouwillsuffer Omg. Tom Tom is the biggest piece of crap there is. It never gives us the right directions or cant ever find the address we type in. And when it does comply it leads us way off course and we end up having to backtrack or finally spot w/e building we were looking for on our own. Grrr

  • USA USA USA WTF am i saying

  • i think Europe usually drive on the right apart from a few countries like UK

  • does it shakes?

  • i feel really ignorant... i keep thinking yo were on the wrong side of the road, i then realized you are obviously not from america. which is basically the only country that does.

  • @AlecsRandomVideos Canada and France drive on the right, im sure Mexico does too.

  • @FindRealHipHop yes mexico does too

  • @AlecsRandomVideos ye only america do that rofl....:D

  • do i have to have a mobile data connection? otherwise i will have hugh costs when i go to a foreign country outside of my own

  • can you have your music playing whilst using this app? and if u can does it turn the volume down so u can hear the directions? thanks

  • @dadykay You can play music. When it's giving you directions the song fades and fades back in when its finished.

  • @dadykay yes, and you can change if it does this or not, aswell as how loud is it. you can also turn it off so it pauses the music

  • I just bought one yesterday, it is definitely worth every penny I paid for. I wish it comes with a small remote control for the ipod that you wrap it around the steering wheel. I had one those once, it comes pretty handy I tell ya'.

  • Be happy that apple decided not to add Gps to their phone. Why, because as you might know people dont like a small device having an eye over them all the time. I think its very Hyúmble of apple.

  • @Baxzie what are you on about :S iPhone DOES have GPS...

  • @Baxzie

The iPhone has a GPS, fool.

  • @Baxzie The iPhone does have gps.

  • The iPhone does have GPS built in

  • this is a goog video but all gps APPS are fucking shitt because you have to buy it on app store like in $100 dollars and none fucking work whit out a stupid gps car kit and even if you get it FREE LIKE ME still you need to sped $100 more on a fucking gps carr kit is all a fucking RIP OFFFF

  • I'm so gonna get this my iPhone is jailbroken so I can get the app for free but I'm gonna get the car kit for 120 that's not bad for a gps

  • Can we relay on TomTom app with this Car kit or still Navigon is better?

  • which app is that

  • does the gps enhancement in the kit work with Navigon?

  • Gps are the bestthing since the map i get lost going home if it was not for my gps i would have to depend on my driver all the time actually my wife

  • it looks ok but the screen looks quite small

  • wast of $ its like a lot of $

  • that voice is so damn anyoing though

  • you're a dinasour, get with the times or get left behind.

  • lol, ..really ...o.0nah mate I use plenty of tech .. plenty ..

I just simply use tech when necessary, in vehicle directional are a joke and dangerous, the iPhone is great

but use a map, its more reliable

maps are superb, fun to use and usage is always available and accurate .

Bottom line in my opinion is to use technology when necessary ..saves the energy a bit and probably lives too , we shouldn't have things with people watching them instead of the road ... ban em I say. crazy dangerous

  • I've gone cross country using a map and I've done it using a GPS. The GPS was a billion times better/easier and they're not dangerous. You glance over at it so for a second at a time, not staring at it while you drive. Plus the verbal instructions make it so you hardly have to look at the thing. I will say tho that everytime I go on a long trip I always print mapquest directions to have as a backup...always got to have a plan B just in case the GPS fails for some reason.

  • GPS in the hand is superb,.. walking etc , not in charge of a vehicle , to distracting.. I'm the same with those ( law loophole) phone headsets , I think they should go too.. they are even more distracting IMHO.

eyes on road ,.. safer roads , simple.

  • It's funny tho, you remind me of my brother, he hates them too. He calls it "mindless driving". I always ask him does he use his computer's calculator, that usually shuts him up, lol :)

  • I suppose, maybe a small part of it is the mindlessness of it especially with the folks going down dead ends etc, many stories online I'm sure you've come across usually shuts up the users of these things lol :).

my main point against using a device for this purpose is the anger , it is distracting, every biy loves his toy...

not safe man .. leave it to the radio for entertainment and maps made of paper ..use the iphone for other, more productive, fun, educational, safe! things

  • * danger ,.. not anger . sorry its late am tired
