The use of triggers isn't "cheating" in any way, shape or form. Triggers are used basically for two things - sound modification and constant volume levels. This allows him to play incredibly fast without having to beat the hell out of his kit in the process. In other words, as long as the trigger senses a vibration from one of the drums, the same volume level will be produced no matter how hard the drum is hit.

Did anybody took time to just give a real listen..forget all trigger's(that does not give extra hits for the drummer by the way)..forget the bad sound..this guy is probably the fastest drummer out there..i saw the guy play in front of me without triggs or anything...just plain drums and i can assure you that he is a real machine. HE IS ONE OF THE BEST.
