Funny how pure talent doesn't need a filthy mouth to get laughs. You could take a lady on a date to see Rodney and not have to worry about getting embarrased or offending your date, if she was a real lady.
How many comedians do you know today who can come out on the stage and get the audience rawing with laughter before uttering a single word? He was one of a kind and missed terribly. R.I.P. Rodney, you were loved.
@beesbond6 - No, if you've seen Rodney alot, you know that his timing was perfect in this. Where he's sometimes thrown off is when he's on the Tonight Show or Letterman because he never knows where Jay or Dave will want to cut in.
He is the master of delivery. His jokes alone are only moderately funny, and told by anyone else they would be humdrum and sore. Only Rodney Dangerfield's perfect comedic timing and wonderful stage presence could make these simple, cute jokes into career defining zingers.
