how about placing this were in line prior to entry any were of use ( well head -pressure tank, or after city meter, and have enter a container simular to what you except under air pressure were water would then drop down and exit under pressure in the home water system. An off the grid system could use one 12 volt pressure pump, have the water drop in to the tank and and have a second pressure pump to continue the water pumping.
