I actually made my own Mario Kart series. It's not as good as yours, but the races are still pretty wacky. My races are commentated instead of using annotations. Anyone here intrested in seeing them, go right ahead. I still plan on posting more in the future.

I don't think VR points decide wether or not you win or lose races. I think it depends on expereince, becuz, hey, I hover around the 4500-6000 range, and with a good fight and a ton of challenge, I beat 9000ers and 8000ers! Of course, then there are 9999ers, with 3 stars and a gold wheel. I beat one of them only once, but only with a chance blue shell that flew by,

the only reason i don't like this mario kart is because u can be 30 seconds ahead the whole race. but one blue shell can instantly get you back like 5 places. it's ridiculous. there's no skill in this game anymore. cept for time trials. i still love it tho. xD

Blue Shells exist to keep skilled racers like me from victory... or worse even.

I remember one time I was running second and a blue shell zoomed past me to hit the leader. But since the leader had just crossed the finish line, it circled back and hit me instead. I wasn't even close to winning and I was still bombed to a 12th place finish.

Yes last night I was playing a couple of pretty good players(this was about my 12th win a row (THANK U RANBOW ROAD YOU SAVED ME ON THE 9TH or something as my opponent fell off the course when he was about to win making me first)) and I get pwned by a blue shell by a millimeter fro finishing and ended up 5th!
