a 1.6 ghz acer aspire 5100 can play flight simulator x with no problems and 1 gig of ram with its design you should know better than to overclock it , it would need some cooling mods to do that and in the end you are better off getting a tower for modding , this could make a cool laptop type computer to show off at school :) that's what I'd do plus it could make using cad software interesting im buying one and i have a hp laptop a dell and an acer for working already

I don't find touch screens easy at all. I would rather have a mouse or track pad ANY DAY. Plus - the screen gets SO messy with finger prints and smudge marks. If your skin is oily (like mine) the sensitivity will degrade DRAMATICALLY over time. A stylus HELPS, but I would still rather have a pointing device such as a mouse.

OS x is impossible to run on a PC. Leopard detects that it is not a Macintosh, and terminates the installation. Any people calming to be able to run OS x on there PC, are mental patent. It is impossible.
People Run windows on there Mac because they don't want to go through the process. Running Windows is less complex.

1. I have used XP 64-bit (on an NTFS partition) for three years now, and have NEVER had the computer crash. I use it for video editing, gaming, word processing, creating flash animations, etc DAILY. 2. If you are running a mac without an anti-virus - you are ASKING for problems. Search Google for known mac viruses, and you'll be surprized. 3. When I have a problem - I fix it myself. I don't have to send the PC off or get some snotty little mac tech to fix it at a mac store. PCs are also cheaper.

1. Although Microsoft has released a 64 Bit, and that it faster than the regular release of Windows 32 Bit, BUT because 64 Bit isn't as popular as 32 bit, Manufactures don't bother to program their program for 64 bit because it is to expensive. Mac OS 9 has had Viruses.
2.OS 9 had lots of Viruses, but OS x 10 is to tough. People are working to make Viruses. Hell they'd go down into history. But it is impossible.
3. PC's require frequent updates, and anti-viruses. Costs more in the long run.

I can explain this because Mac in expensive. Windows is for the person, who doesn't give a crap about his computer, his life, or the world around him.
The reason that Windows is on just about every single computer because the virus is on just about every computer. That is how Microsoft does so good.

First of all, that made no sense.
Second of all, I do admire Bill Gates for doing that. I do a lot of charity work myself, and I think that he is very generous.
But that brings us back to the root of the problem. Microsoft's Crappy OS. Windows. Ever since Windows 1.01, although it was revolutionary, it was a crappy OS. IBM had the better command line, but was replaced by Windows

I use a fairly nice gateway laptop atm, im gonig to be getting an alienware laptop soon that would kick the shit out of the macbook pro for around the same price i dont mind the mac os but i rather hackintosh it

We Have this Pc at work, and I'm supposed to try to sell it, however the touch screen is way off, its not accurate at all. Thats why all the icons are so big. You'd be better off just using the mouse.
