This is horrible. Every time she mispronounces the word `ukulele, I want to either punch her in the throat or stick something sharp into my ears. Apart from that, her music sucks too. For a fun and contemporary use of the `ukulele, try the band Garfunkel and Oates.

Or if you want to really get serious, you can't go wrong with Jake Shimabukuro...

She doesn't pronounce it wrongly.

She pronounces it the way it has been adapted to the English language.

I know some people who live in Hawaii and many just plain snobs think they sound superior by pronouncing it with Hawaiian phonemes, but don't tell us we're wrong to use the phonemes of the language we happen to be using at the time.

How do you pronounce 'piano' (Italian), 'violin' (Spanish) and 'flute' (French)?
