If you have not seen ROB ROY, well, in the first place you are missing an outstanding film. But more importantly (to me anyway) you are missing what I believe to be Tim Roth's finest two hours! Steals the film from everyone. I had NEVER seen him before that role. I kept asking myself, where the heck has HE been hiding? How is it that I have never seen this amazing actor before now?!?

Oh and by the way. I don't know the actual true story of this. Because I read in some biograpy's and articles that Vincent was fighting with his friends Paul Gaurguin and that's how Vincent got his ear lobe sut off. Does anyone know the actuall true story?

Vincent cut off his ear lobe after a falling out with Gauguin. And he delivered his ear lobe, wrapped in newspaper, to a prostitute at the local brothel.
