@Ironandtheshizzelz been out for ages.. plus now that Team Fortress 2 is free... the Source SDK 2007 is all you need. so get steam download the Source SDK 2007 and get Firearms source

Is it necessary for people to have such an obscenely high movement speed in this game? It looks like Unreal Tournament. They're not even slowed down by bullets like they were\are in CS.
I bet the reason FA:S is running so bad right is either because it's still in it's testing phases, or because it's being rebuilt on stolen code. Remember, the reason FA disappeared wasn't because they gave up on it or anything, but rather it was due to some "radical fans" of the game stealing all the data and code to remake "how they wanted it to be". It's a real shame that had to happen I LOVED Firearms SO much, IMO it's one of the BEST HL1 mods EVER.
I love how people don't realize that the original HL1 version of Firearms came out before Counter-Strike and even Team Fortress Classic. FA:S is great, but it has some ways to go. Hopefully the 2.0 version with Steamworks is a huge step forward.

Good times playing the original FA on HL1. But let me get this right, wasn't Firearms the FIRST game to truly put in perks?! Seriously. Oh, and the M16a2 kicked so much ass... The game developers put so much time and effort into making the weapons look and sound authentic. The animations for reloading were just spot on. I'm sure that dude made it far into the gaming business.

@astarothification It's a source game, using VAC, I doubt anyone would hack, unless it's an exploit or a css hacker who don't care buying and re-buying his games over and over.
.50 BMG rounds fired from a long rifle with a recoil system (Like the one in this video) isn't going to kick hard enough to knock you down unless you are leaning backwards while firing it.
Hell, I've seen videos of small children firing a .50 from a bipod on a table. If a little kid can handle it shouldered and set down, a grown man can handle it standing and unsupported.
That's fucked up. On moddb it says it was released, but the only download that is there is the dedicated server.... O_O I've been waiting a long time for this mod, there can't be much more to add after 5 years of work.......
