  • God, I miss his friendship, smile, laugh and the tears we shared. I can never forget my friend who showed me such kindness, I only hope I helped him too. Etta is on her way D

  • Every time I see this clip the tears come.

    Miss you Delaney.

  • Miss you Delaney...

  • Delaney and Janice Waldrop were voted most cute as seniors at Randolph High School.

  • Outstanding. It's no wonder him and Bonnie rose to such heights. Sadly, it is just a memory now, but a good one.

  • This clip never fails to bring me to tears.

  • Very nice. I'm just kind of checking through YouTube seeing what kind of competition my granddaughter's up against with her new music video. It's obvious there are a lot of talented people out here.

  • yeah!

  • fabulous blues/rock talent, just like his wife & daughter. he's still w/us in bekka.

  • You're right, it's not Bekka, it's Essra Mowhawk.

  • PLEASE JOIN ON FACEBOOK: Delaney Bramlett deserves induction into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

  • More of this please!

  • The man could just flat-ass HURTCHYA! Loved Delaney. Miss him much.

  • Awesome work Paulkulak

    Great video. :)

    Much love Kat

  • Great video. EC once said everything he knew about singing he learned from Delaney. Nadine

  • The Strat he's using is a Fender Relic that Fender gave him. i had the good fortune of playing with Delaney for a bit before he passed. i used this guitar on some recordings on one of his last albums. sorry to nix the Duane theory... ;-)

  • I'm trying to figure out where I have seen the female back up vocalist. the best i can come up with is JJ Cale's rhythm guitarist of many years but i don't think so. Very familiar looking though. anyone ?

  • This is great- wonderul

  • @CharlieMoher it's his daughter, Bekka

  • @daledrive44

I'm not about to accuse a stranger of having a fibbing problem, but she looks nothing at all like the photos I've seen of Bekka.

  • The only white guy I know that could match the soul of a black man in his vocals. What an unbelievable musical legacy and it's amazing how many people have never heard of him or his influence on pop music. RIP...too bad, so sad.

  • michael mcdonald was pretty soulful for a white guy too. maybe not quite as much as mr. bramlett though.

  • powerful soul. rip delaney

  • I think that Stratocaster Delaney is playing once belonged to Duane Allman. Duane gave that guitar to him because Delaney always loved it and made Duane let him use it whenever they played together. so finally he just gave it to him. I looked at some pictures and it looks like the same one judging by the wear marks.

  • If indeed that's Duane's guitar, trust me Delaney did not MAKE him give it to him, anymore than he MADE, Harrison give him his Strat.

    They gifted D with them.

  • @zbestwun2001 the guitar in question was Duane's at one time which he sold and Delaney ended up with it and then Duane wanted it back but he said; "no way" and it was a Les Paul Jr.

  • I believe they were Chad Watson and Essra Mohawk.

  • Thanks for the post. Loving the memories. Thanks Delaney. My heart pours to your family and loved ones.

  • Tears of grief at the loss of this deep soul.

I will never forget you Delaney.

  • What a gem!

  • Thanks for posting. This music channels deep. The great musicians can just pour it out, can't they? I will check out your website - good work, keep it up.

  • Jesus. That's powerful stuff right there. Dude can still sing his ASS off, too!

  • And he's now the singer in that blues band up in Heaven. So for now the rest of us back on Earth no longer have a voice.

Delaney, the pain was too great for you to bear so we will bear it for you. Miss you so much.

  • Win, lose or draw, I love this man and his singular contribution to American R&B. He KNOWS the Blues because he has lived them. God bless you always, Delaney. ~ PtH

  • The instrumentation is so sparse, yet the arrangement is incredibly powerful. True to the soul music tradition.

  • Who are the other two singing with Delaney?

  • I believe they were Chad Watson and Essra Mohawk.

  • great honest music--this man is the real deal. Thanks for posting

  • this is his life story. makes you cry, he was on top he had been there, but time plays no favorates, it gets all, then only memories.

  • he will go down as a person who was way ahead of his time. he influenced clapton. betts, allman and harrison.who else can say that.delaney and bonnie had the best play with them gordon, radle, whitlock, clapton cooledge, mason, harrison, russell on and on why?because they were the beat.

  • THis is so great ...thanks for posting. I am a recent Delaney and Bonnie fan ,

    What is he doing now....?

THis is so heartfelt...........its how you image music was before......well before progress.

  • if you like this you will love delaney&bonnie in the movie :vanishing point"
