  • @dawiccaman I believe that's between you and God. I am Catholic but I have a live and let live attitude about things. I'm tired of people pointing fingers at each other and saying "you're going to hell!" That's not my judgment to make, it's God's. I wish people would just let other people believe as they wish and stop judging. Freedom of religion is a beautiful thing. God bless!

  • @joanofarc1313 thank you for your understanding, and may i say, i rarely ever have a problem with the catholic church telling me what to beleive. its generally "everybody is going to hell but me!" people, like the westboro baptist church. blessed be.

  • I think you'll find the Catholic church didn't bring you the "real" Santa or even Christmas, they stole it to co-incide with a Pagan holiday, Jesus would've actually been born in the Autumn (or Fall if you're American)

  • 1. The real Santa is St. Nicholas of Myra, a very real historical person whose actual signature appears under the acts of the council of Nicaea. 2. The date of Xmas was selected to correspond to the day 9 months after the feast of Christ's conception (March 25th) which was believed to be the date of creation in the Jewish calendar and the day Christs death (creation-restoration symbolism). Pagan symbolism is an anti-catholic urban legend of the enlightenment, that refuses to die.

  • @donjojohannes 1) Paganism outdates Catholicism

    2) If Jesus was the King of the Jews why is he a Christian symbol?

    3) Why did the Roman Catholics kill Jesus if he was the son of God, bit hypocritical to kill him then worship him

  • @Holmes12167 Wow, you need to do some reading - I mean at least search wikipedia. 1) yes true, but that is no help here. 2) Christians come from Judaism. All of the first Christians were Jews - they were called Christians because they followed Jesus as the Christ (Messiah). 3) Romans killed Christ, not Roman Catholics. Two different things! Please read up. Opinion and Knowledge are not the same.

  • quick question, to those of the catholic faith watching this video. i used to be a catholic untill i was ten, and then i discovered a religion called wicca, which made more sence to me. in a word, it's... witchcraft, but not in the same sence as the bible wrote about. and i still live my life by many catholic values (i don't swear, i don't break the law, i don't sin, and i accept jesus died on the cross to forgive our sins.) so in your opinions, am i going to heaven, or to hell?

  • @dawiccaman Well, considering that your practicing magic, that is against Christ because you are calling on a power outside of God, who are you getting your power from? If your power is not coming from Christ, then it is coming from a lower being, and that being is most likely a demon, as it could be no other. So.. THAT is a sin. Any faith that calls on power outside of God is not for God.. it is ANTI-GOD. If you are truly in this cult, I recommend you leave before you get obsessed.

  • @Monk2be thank you for your opinion, but since there is nothing either demonic or occult about wicca, i'll wait for the majority vote, i think. i'm not really asking for an opinion as a life choice, anyway, more as evidence for my videos. thank you for being honest, but i'll stick where i am, thanks.

  • @dawiccaman Demonic or Occultic? Really? What would you classify as demonic or occultic? Tell me, does Wicca promote multiple Gods and Goddesses?

  • @Monk2be i would classify demonic as evil, and occult as anything spiritual but not a recognized religion. as i'm sure most people would. i'm not looking for a debate, i'm looking for opinions. sorry to dissapoint you, but i'm not going to, neither will i try to force my point of view on anyone. i'm just asking opinions here.

  • @dawiccaman ok so you blocked me from replying? Sad.

  • @Monk2be oopps.. user error. =D Mea Culpa

  • @Monk2be i haven't blocked you from replying. your free to reply if you want. i just won't answer if your looking for a debate.

  • The catholic church also brought you hitler!

  • @AtomicDonut22 You sound like an anti catholic Glenn Beck. Happy to throw dirt, no matter how outragious the claim. You do realize that 3000 catholic priests were in the concentration camp of Dachau alone (more clerics than any other denomination) And you realize, that of the allies that fought to bring him down, there were as many catholics as in the general population (%). Thank you for exposing your ignorance to the discredit of your position.

  • @donjojohannes You blocked me before so I couldn't reply. It's spelt "Outrageous"

My position? My claim that Hitler is catholic is true. We yet to see one "Non-Catholic" Hitler. And are you implying by saying Catholics killing Catholics is a good thing? They just killed their own thought brothers.

Catholics kill Catholics all the time, Atheists rarely kill, "Thank you for exposing your ignorance to discredit your position" you're trying to sound smart. Blocking is a dick move, let me reply.

  • @MrCarcinoGeneticist Sorry for my spelling mistake. Thanks for the correction. English is only one of five foreign languages that I speak. Imperfectly as you can see. Sorry for the blocking. I block people who appear to be drunk, hateful or 14 years old, not knowing that Stalin was an atheist who killed 50 million people and whose knowledge of the things they speak about could be greatly improved by Wikipedia - and this is saying a lot.

  • Actually that was pretty freakin' funny!

  • wait..these are catholic/theist jokes? I gotta get out of here!

  • @MsPrincessCaroline yeah or youll get infected by us catholics :/ after all, someone like you cannot stay in the presence of mere religious inferior people :S

  • Why don't you ever see these commercials of tv??? that would be awesome to see!

  • Yes that is true. We the One Holy Roman apostolic Church founded by CHrist HIMSELF did really brought to the world the REAL Santa Claus whose REAL name is ST. Nicholas. I just discovered that the Dutch Protestants called St. Nicholas as Santa Claus but today, most protestants DENY their creation. THey even cursed it!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • its not only dutch protestants who call saint Nicholas Santa Claus (actually its Sinterklaas (wow now you have learned something else todayXD)) but anywayz even the non believers here celebrate his birthday;)

  • Search Catholics Come Home "Epic"

  • it is the real thing

  • I agree, the Catholic church is a brand-name corporation all right . . .

  • I once saw this bumber sticker at my church that said "Catholic Christian: the Real Thing".

  • hehehe.. loved this vid!!

  • Uuuuuuuuuuuuasuuuuu soooooo gooo

Catholic Church... do you have it in high quality...? Uau so interesting...!

    5 stars

  • Just LOOOOOVE IT!!!!!!!!!;))))

  • accurate corporate video;

    ingenious!

  • history begs to differ, but I assume this comment is ideologically motivated and there is nothing I could say to change your mind. How sad, that the very Holy Scriptures you seem to rely on so heavily were compiled and handed down to you by the Catholic Church for hundreds of years before the reformation. Sader still you neglect the Scriptures by neglecting Tradition which is passed on in a living body and not only paper (2 Thess 2:15). But alas. Keep searching and you'll surely find Truth

  • @obamalikesdeadbabies

Besides, why are the catholics praying to Jesus anyway? He isn´t catholic..

  • @Kirurishii

    Jesus isn't Christian either.

  • @Kirurishii Jesus came and Jesus left us a Church. He said he would be with us until the the end of time. For he said to Peter you are Rock and upon this Rock I shall build my Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail. And guess what? That Church is still around today. It is The Catholic Church. And Jesus is with us as He said in ALL the Tabernacles of the World! Praise to You Lord Jesus Christ!

  • @prolifebuttonsDOTcom thanks for telling these protestants that the roman catholic church is the true church

  • @Kirurishii Jesus is catholic look at it in the bible mathew chapter 16 verses 18-19 jesus gave saint peter the key to create the new and true church thats right JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF GAVE SAINT PETER THE FIRST CATHOLIC POPE, THE KEY TO CREATE THE TRUE CHURCH get your facts strait

  • @speedy779 I sure believe you it´s there, the bible is a roman catholic book after all, and ofcourse the "Roman Jesus" pointed out a pope to represent the catholic church as chief. However, since the religion is Roman Catholic, I´m also sure I don´t have to explain to you that Jesus died as King of the Jews, instead as founder of the Roman Catholic Church. You see, it were the Romans who sort of executed the poor man.. perhaps there was remorse so that some romans started a church in his name..

  • @Kirurishii

All of the first members of the Church were Jews. The word "Catholic" was added to emphasizes the universal nature of the Church (as this is the meaning of the greek word). The name "Roman" referes to the fact that the cief apostle Peter died in Rome (by the hand of the same romans). His successor there was Linus and then....the bishop of Rome (= pope) is the successor of Peter and thus the chief among all bishops and thus the Church is called: Roman - Catholic - Church.

  • @donjojohannes You are a wise man, now tell me are you a catholic

  • @Kirurishii You are correct that Jesus was the king promised to the jews but when jesus reseracted he made peter the leader of his new and holy church, they called it the roman catholic church becuase peter and peul made the first temple of worship their, so the first church was created in rome making it roman and the word catholic was the ancient greek word for universal. And yes romans did allow the exucution of jesus but it was the Pharisees who told puanches piliot to crucife him

  • I Have a sugestion,Why not do a spoof of a Lexus Ad,but instead of lexus it would say "Jesus"

  • hey, donjojohannes, how much time do you spent on doing the spoofs, and Props on adding Saint Nicholas to the mix,It's really good.

  • that really depends on, how clear the idea is in my head and on how weighty it is on the SFX side. This one didn't take too long.

  • Love the video, it makes me laugh every time I see it. And yes, Santa Claus is real, yay us. On a more serious note, thank you donjojohannes for posting this humorous video concerning the faith. God bless and Deus vobiscum.

  • I love your vids! Saint Nicholas is my patron saint.

  • Awesome vid! GREAT JOB!

  • YES!!!!!

I tend to dress up as the "real Santa Clause" for Christmas Parties.

  • At least the Catholics should try to do that, it's another way to show the Truth. †PAX

  • I make a point to dress up as St Nick at Christmas parties (esp since the end up being on the 6th of December). As to avoid confusion I have Sanctus Nicolaus written on my mitre. And for my Orthodox friends, I have it written in Greek on the back.

    :-)

  • Manof, now I could see the pic although it is a bit dark. Perhaps you could use it as background? or an icon of Him as icon?. I quit buying the distorted version many years ago and my mother and sis couldn't understand why and we have been cradle Catholic. Thanks for what you do!. Stay safe. †PAX

  • lol - that's a picture of me after vespers last May.

    :-)

  • Please, forgive my ignorance, but you are dressed as?. I can't see the details.

  • OMGSH are you a bishop??

  • I'll answer my own question, no. Sorry, I wasn't thinking.

  • @cheesemonkey1990

    lol, that's okay. I' was a sub-deacon for vespers.

  • @Manofhopeandglory so you are a more traditional clergy man then. I know today we don't have all those ranks that the tradtional spectrum has. That is really cool.

  • Oh yes! I always love saying Santa Claus is real!

  • Erfrischend katholisch.
