sailor moon was and is so unbelievably popular its a shame about the huge licensing crisis in all opther counrties for this anime besides japan, it is so huge here and around the world. form reliable sources i herad that there is still hope for sailor moon in this country since its hitting its 20TH anniversary. They should do to it like they did to dragonball z dragonball kai

actually, mercury has the element of water because if you analyze carefully the planets' kanji, they would be something like this...

Mercury = "Water Planet"

Venus = "Gold Planet"

Mars = "Fire Planet"

Jupiter = "Wood/Tree Planet"

Saturn = "Earth Planet"

Neptune = "Ocean/Sea King Planet"

There are no male senshi known. Darien/Endymion is not a sailor senshi, he is the guardian of Earth. All magical girls anime have only girls as warriors of light and justice and all that. Mainly because girls watch it, more so than boys. I love Uranus - plays with the notion of all senshi being female. And the three of Starlight are female. In the manga they're only crossdressing, the anime is slightly more disturbing.. who wants to undergo a sex change every time some villains come along?

The outer senshi's theme is definitely one of the most beautifully arranged music pieces in the series. I totally fell in love with it like...seven years ago. I wish I knew where to get the soundtracks.

Yeah. Pltuo & Saturn are the best. Pluto is my favorite. She's the oldest, wisest, and in my eyes she's the most beautiful. Pluto & Saturn are the most powerful. Also, they're not "sticks". Saturn has a glaive, and Pluto has a garnet key-staff/rod.
