The reason the commentators are talking about how lame it is is because Aquasilk was hitting all of Gief's bad matchups during that entire tournament. It has nothing to do with Blank or the Realyst, but that Aqua is a pretty good player with shitty luck.

go aquasilk :) having a zangief to defeat a turtling blanka is really hard

i was playing last night, i didn't play zangief at all, until the final game, i decided to use gief (my main) to end it... the guy was waiting for me to choose, i chose gief, and he automatically went to blanka, guess, what, fucked him up hard and he's a pussy because i've played him before, he'd wait until the final second for you to pick and he'd counterpick...

1st round, he was too overconfident, he lets me lariat until i have full super, he basically waited for me to attack him.

then, he got me down by 50%...but i landed super on him + another lariat, he was chasing me, i pissed him off by using my ultra (empty) with 2 seconds left and he lost via time out! what a freaking great feeling to piss the pussy off!

2nd round, i went straight offense, cornered his ass, and he got destroyed by zangief

I was so glad yesterday man, that's how difficult zangief vs. blanka is because blanka is so lame and counters zangief so badly it's sick.
