  • all his videos seemed perfect like bowling a perfect 300, or shooting perfect hoops, but the time he threw a football and then ran and caught it, i was like ummm ok mommy

  • Is he Dohp ziglers father.

  • Curt Henning is "perfect", RIP Mr Perfect

  • I still do the gum slap to this day. Thank you, Curt Hennig.

  • Its funny how i think he was inducted in the perfect year aha 2007 was such an amazing year for many people

  • I went to thumbs up the video but I must have already done it 3 years ago.

  • NOW YOU'RE GONNA SEE.. A PERFECT-PLEX!!

  • Mr. Perfect should have been WWF Champion, hands down.

  • @hench1985 i hate cocaine for kiling him!

  • @hench1985 Ask Hulk Hogan why Curt was never WWF champion!!!

  • @sockey77 that would be a good question to ask, but besides Hogan holding people back, I just don't see why Vince never went for him having a reign, seeing as he could talk on the mic, excellent ring skills, and had the pedigree of his father. Just a shame.

  • Hope his son aka Michael McGillicutty who should use his dad's last name creates his own identity that would make his dad proud.

  • Mr. Perfect is up their with Brock Samson. That, ladies and gents is hard to accomplish.

  • All I can say is, I followed wrestling for 10 years, between '88/89 - 98/99, and Curt was one of the best, period.

  • the only reason hennig wasnt wwf champion was because of bias within the company. Larger than life personas got the belt, not real athletes. Hennig was probably the best intercontinental champion ever, even though he didnt keep it as long as honky tonk man or have it as many times as others. Bret Hart being a close second, then Shawn Michaels third best IC champ.

  • @Hambag2009 u wouldnt consider chris jericho tied with micheals for third?

  • @Silentmarksman1 To be honest, my opinion tends to change all the time, and I could not honestly give an impartial view on who I think should be considered the 'Best' IC champ of all time because I stopped following watching wrestling after 1998, so my views are limited. My fave wrestlers from the 80s and 90s though, are as followers: Bret Hart, Curt Hennig, Steve Austin, Arn Anderson, Sting, Randy Savage, Big Boss Man and Shawn Michaels. (When I was a kid, it was all Ultimate Warrior!) Haha

  • @Hambag2009 ohh ok i watched wrestling up to 2004 so you could say i have had a wider view but in my opinion id put jericho 3rd and yea my 2 favs growing were randy savage . ultimate warrior , & mr perfect

  • @Silentmarksman1 Like i said, as much as I admire Curt Hennig overall as a wrestler and athlete, i retract my statement saying he was prob the best IC champ, but i like how the wwf carried his character along the years, ending up as Ric Flairs right hand man for a limited time, he was a likeable heel for a long time, who in my opinion deserved more spotlight, but then again you could argue he didnt need one, he shined above most.

  • @Hambag2009 yea mr perfect always shined by himself you are right on that but in my opinion he should have gotten bigger roles or at least more title shots but vince never gave him that and the one time he did have one nevr got a chance to win it cause of DQ and ill also like what they did later on in his career one of my fav moments was wen he showed up in the royal rumble & it looked like he never missed a beat

  • Now THAT...was Perfect ; )

  • @JRyanBrooks101 The "pen trick" is even harder!

  • For a wrestling hall of fame video there isnt much wrestling lol, its mostly him being great at various other sports ahaha

  • Mr Perfect could do EVERYTHING!... except be Champion... :(

  • This is what you call character! This is what you call character folks! This is what WWE doesn't have currently.

  • @thegiftedmedia What about the Miz? He's no Mr. Perfect, but he definitely has character.

  • @Postman206 I have nothing to say to you. I take it you are a post PG fan.

  • @thegiftedmedia I don't know what post PG means, but I've been a fan since 1990. There are actually plenty of guys with "character" today, just because you don't like them doesn't mean they don't have character. Orton, Cena, The Miz, Wade Barrett, just to name a few. That being said, there will never be another Mr. Perfect.

  • @Postman206 cena doesnt have much character as a face. He does make a good heel though, i will admit.

  • @Postman206 Ha the Miz.. he isn't even a koko b ware

  • WHO IN THERE RIGHT MIND WOULD DISLIKE THIS VIDEO...ITS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT....RIP CURT HENNING!!!

  • he was just perfect

  • this video is......perfect

  • dolph ziggler the new mr perfect

  • @9toyourdome no i think that Cody Rhodes is the new Mr.Perfect with his ''Dashing'' gimmic

  • @Misa4lifee Dashing is the new Ravishing

  • its crazy what drugs can do to a person 44 years was to early R.I.P Curt Henning a perfect man

  • This guy is like Shawn Michaels, a great athlete and a charismatic performer.

  • Absolutly Perfect ;) RIP Homie :) you are missed :)

  • Just simply perfect RIP

  • too many wrestlers gone too soon, i miss them all....somewhere up in heaven, they're putting on shows tearing the house down....i always say, as cheesy as it may sound, God needed a wrestling promotion......he took only the best :( RIP Mr Perfect and to all of them who passed too soon

  • the life suck.... take away from us the perfection....

  • dolph ziggler well be just like mr.perfect soon :D

  • the perfect hall of famer

  • NOBODY IS MORE PERFECT

  • thank you for answering.

  • 5 dislikes? who the hell could dislike Mr. perfect and the impact he left on wrestling? oh wait.. Cena fans right? Fail.

  • did he die.

  • @chawkeye99 Sadly yes.

  • That was perfect!!

  • mr.perfect best of bests

  • PERFECT!!! NO QUESTIONS ASKED

  • I STILL SPIT OUT MY GUM & SWAT IT AWAY LIKE PERFECT DID TO THIS VERY DAY......

  • Dolph Zigglers dad....

  • @themacdown The hair department lol yes, but not for real actually that Micgillicutty kid is Mr P's Son!

  • @HotProperty83 yeah i wasnt being serious haha

  • BEST WRESTLER THAT EVER LIVED BY FAR NUFF SAID

  • Man was he Perfect!

  • That pencil toss he does 0:20 i been practicing since 3rd grade, i still haven't been able to do it.

  • @xDanielx2016 It was the most impressive thing in the entire video, in my eyes.

  • None of these comments are spelled perfect.

  • In my opinion, Mr. Perfect is the one person that didn't win the world title who is most deserving of it. Right behind him would be Owen Hart.

  • @lwst82 Owen hart deserved it way more IMO. Ted Dibiase Deserved it Way better as well.

  • @lwst82 apparantly a storyline of him winning the wwf championship was about to start, but then mr perfect got a back injury.

  • :41, he looks exactly like Migicillicutty

  • Here's hoping Mcgullicutty can improve and do his dad proud.

  • @HarryPlayer Joe Hennig is A Joke.

  • @CRBPunk How can you call him a joke when he's not done anything or gotten the chance to prove himself?

  • @HarryPlayer Ive Heard his Promos, and Saw some of him in the ring. Not all that impressive. His Mic Skills are horrible. He is boring as hell. You just cant take the guy seriously.

  • whoever dislikes this video is a douche..

  • Why, Curt? Why did you have to do cocaine?

  • Absolutely PERFECT!!!

  • the best

  • Mr. Perfect was bad ass! To this day, when I'm done with a piece of gum, I spit it up in the air and swat it away.

  • @Postman206

I do the same thing with my gum.

  • @Postman206 I do that all the time too. My girlfriend saw me do it the other day and wondered why the hell I did it in the first place. I didn't even acknowledge her, I just said out loud, "....Perfect."

  • @TEEN1DOL you've gotta be talking about the gum smack, if so i still do it every time i spit my gum out

  • RIP Curt Hennig

  • Mr Perfect was truly one of the greatest to ever hit the squared circle! .... it's when you look back you realise how great these stars really were, Bam Bam was another with his agility, Perfect had everything, the skill, the charisma, the attitude, like Dibiase he was one of the greatest heels to have ever lived (great as a face too), Mr Perfect is one of the greatest legends & is very very highly missed! His life was short but immaculate & his legacy made an impact big time! RIP Curt Hennig!

  • r.i.p mr perfect

  • @eldtagg Unfortuantly, you might be right. Look at Cena. He was one of the most beloved characters in the WWE back in 2003-2005 before his first title reign. People loved him and he was excellent on the Mic and he was actually not bad of a wrestler. I think Cena is a talented wrestler, just not the best. Unfortuantly for Cena, when he won the title for the first, maybe second time, he became boring and stale. And that sucks because Cena is actually a pretty cool guy.

  • Its so unfair that he is no longer with us, a true true legend of wrestling and a hero of mine growing up, I still cant belive its 7 years+ since his death and i still watch re-runs of his matches.

R.I.P Kurt Henning you are sorely missed.

  • Damn best Intercontinental Champ. He should have got a run at the World Title.

  • perfectly gay. he was a natural athlete....but he played a fake sport?

  • Like him or not he was truly an athlete with perfect ambitions. Sad he left so soon while others are still around to enjoy their past success.

  • he was PERFECT ! and always will be !

  • R.I.P Curt.. you were one of the best EVER!

  • I remember after a house in 1990, no wrestlers would give us fans the time of day except for Mr. Perfect and Jimmy Hart. It was a moment that I will never forget.

  • THE SAD PART IS HE WAS TRUELY MR PERFECT, YES I SAID HE WAS REALLY WAS (& ALWAYS WILL BE N MY HEART) MR. PERFECT! HE ALWAYS HAD THE PERFECT GAME,THE PERFECT SCORE AT WHAT EVER HE WAS PLAYING... DARTS, BOWLING,(WHICH WE DID ALOT OF @ THE SHOWBOAT) & CARDS U NAME IT THATS Y WE CALLED HIM MR. PERFECT WAAAY BACK WHEN. HUH MR. HICKENBOTTOM...SHAWN?

  • he was simply..perfect

  • Talk about larger than life characters...He was simply Perfect all the time

  • curt hennig invented swagger. fucking OG right here.

  • None of the current crop of headliners in WWE (except Jack Swagger ) deserve to even kiss this man's boots . RIP Curt Henning , pro wrestling will probably never see another performer of your quality .

  • @troyatwork Jack Swagger? What's he got? If you wanna go all american collegiate, then Shelton Benjamin would be a better example surely. The man had more character and personality to him than Swagger.

  • @troyatwork Jack Swagger!? He might be a great collegiate wrestler but come on! He completely flopped as WHC!

Swagger is no where near Mr Perfect... Closest of the current crop in terms of similarities are Ziggler and Danielson in my opinion

  • To be perfect you have to earn it...and he did it and he is the most perfect wrestler i've ever seen and thats perfect :)

  • WOW....That Pencil Trick was....was.....PERFECT!

  • I cannot believe that shawn stasiak had this gimmick and theme song at one point. Curt hennig was awesome. He could main event today tbh it was a sad day when he died =[

  • Fact is Curt was supposed to win the title from Hogan on January 15th 1990 at madison square Garden after he and Genius appeared on Regis and Kathy..Hogan had creative control and squashed the idea hours before it happened..True story. The match ended up being a DQ win for Henning...Hogan didnt want a better worker stealing his spotlight.

  • @kingpindavemartin Hogan is a bloody asshole

  • @kingpindavemartin Hogan was an egotistical prick, but he did praise Curt to the hilt on his posthumous DVD. At least WWE now fully recognizes Hennig as a world champion after their purchase of the AWA. Hennig had a great year-long run as AWA World Heavyweight Champion there, defeating Nick Bockwinkel for the title in a classic match. Of course, Hennig was also one of the greatest Intercontinental Champions of all time.

  • @kingpindavemartin PERFECT explanation

  • @kingpindavemartin Complete Bullshit. It was known by December of 89 that the main event for Wrestlemania VI was going to be Hogan v Warrior for the title, which was the biggest box office draw of the time. Hogan didn't want to drop the title to Warrior, but he did anyway.

  • @kingpindavemartin shhh that son of a bitch i swear i h8 hogan he knows guys like Curt are far better than he could ever dream of being but he made sure the stayed a notch below him didnt he

  • @kingpindavemartin

    hogan is too egotistical.

  • @kingpindavemartin Thank you Hogan...

  • The whole point was he didn't NEED a World Title for fans to consider him in that light...He was indeed the PERFECT wrestler in terms of giving the fans everything they expected out of a legendary heel and far more. And his vignettes were, in my opinon, by far the BEST the WWF ever produced!

  • @Dps081393 He was Nicky, not Mikey

  • wow im in shock.... that was PERFECT

  • how did he die and was he heel most the time??

  • If we look for the complete wrestler, mic, in-ring, charisma, etc, there are 3 guys. Michaels, Hennig and Undertaker. That's my opinion.

  • @paulogomescoelho And I think, had Mr. Perfect not kept injuring his back he would have been world champion somewhere around Wrestlemania after he finished his feud with Lex Luger. I was about 12 when I started watching wrestling, and his face turn with Randy Savage for the survivor series is to this day the best face turn I've ever seen, and when he entered the Royal Rumble I thought for sure he was going to win and then go on to win the title. He was rapidly becoming my favorite wrestler ever.

  • @paulogomescoelho Replace the Undertaker with Scott Hall then you are on track

  • @cowboyscowboys Scott Hall would be my 4th :)

  • its not bret hart that is the best there is the best there was and the best there ever ever will b its mr perfect and thats a fact when he was ic champion he made it a better title than the wwe simple

  • 0:22 = Awesome. I love all the little things like that that Curt Hennig use to do. To this day I still swat my gum when I spit it out.

  • HE really was mr perfect

  • classic

  • wrestling was never ever real ! look at old ecw that must have been reaal

  • One of the greatest gimmicks and of the greatest in-ring technicians ever

  • @XXpercent they dont make them like they youst aneory mor

  • man, he is perfect, dont say was, thats just insulting to mr perfect

  • never had the wwf title which is complete and utter bs

  • The perfect Hallof Famer.

  • i love the way he says i know to the basketball guy as if to say well what did u expect

  • Greatest Wrestler! I always wanted to meet him. But just watching him wrestle was great! R.I.P bro. Minnesota misses you!

  • Absolutly Perfect!!!

  • Quite Possibly the greatest WWF superstar to never have won the WWF Title.

  • this man was an example of perfection!! one of the all time greats! RIP

  • RIP Mr Perfect

  • For those that don't know his son and daughter wrestle . I hear his son is good he's in WWE's training camp FCW right now. His daughter wrestles for Harley Race's WLW. I've seen his daughter wrestle she's pretty good and its scary how much she looks like Curt.

  • @MissLegacy20 "its scary how much she looks like Curt"

lol If she really is good, it might be nice if she were in the WWE, maybe she could bring some credibility to the women's title.

  • the one man that Deserved to have been wwe champion, and here u have people like sheamus win the title when they come in what a shame...

  • Great Theme,Great Wrestler,Great Promos...and 'only' IC Title...and for example - Sheamus after 2 months in Raw won WWE Title...Vince ,why...

  • god dam he really was perfect :D r.i.p mr perfect

  • a true champion, a great wrestler, R.I.P mr perfect..

  • now that was perfect!! R.I.P

  • He had such great charisma

  • One Of The Best Wrestlers Of All Time R.I.P Curt

  • the PERFECT wrestling athlete

  • holy shit. he really was perfect.

  • perfect was awa world champion bt he should've been wwe champion too

  • top 5 wwf theme's EVER!!!

  • what do you expect? it's the perfect theme.

  • acute cocaine intoxication, steroids and painkillers, according to wikipedia

  • RIP PERFECT MAN [*]

  • He was the man!

  • perfect man

  • love the beginning of the vid when Perfect throws the towel behind him and The Brain catches it.....Hennig and Heenan were absolutely PERFECT together

  • RIP Curt

  • Simply Perfect!

  • Mr Perfect

Isnt it a shame that we will never get to see wrestling as good as this now

Cena? Joke, Angle would loveto meet Perfect, A true wrestler and a hero to 7 7 year old scottish lad in 1987, you connected to the kids in UK, Mr Perfect HERO, and truly gifted at wrestling

  • WWF Prime time him and Bobby the Brain Heenan, absolutely PERFECT.

Isnt it sad that wrestling will never EVER be as good again

    1983 - 1987

Its never going to happen again

But even here over in wee scotland, wee salute perfect, he should have won the wwf title against hogan at wrestlemania 6, not warrior

Perfect, you touched fans over here in wee scotland, truly a legend, and you coud wipe the mat on the mic and offf the mic with the impsters wee are stuck with today

  • Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger could be the next Curt Henning if they have continue their push, but instead the bookers decided to have them to job matches. By the way, there's only one Mr. Perfect!

  • Makes me pissed WWE fucked him over in his last years.

  • I still cry for Curt. What a shame.

  • @MuggleSnuggles His death was a terrible loss for pro wrestling. Also, he wasn't used to his full potencial in the WWF.

  • Vs Bret Hart, KOTR 93' Semi Final. Twas Perfect (Cept for the loss)

  • he was TH closest thing wwecw/wwf had 2 flair (b4 they got naitch,of course)...as well as 1 of the few that DIDNT need their "world" title (in retrospect,it wouldve been cool 4 him 2 be so,either way)...AND THE LAST GREAT ("OLD-SCHOOL)AWA "WORLD" TITLIST...looking back...hennig/perfect M'R-F'N' RULED...& S-T-I-L-L RULES ALL!!!!!!!!!!...

  • Every truely knowledgeable wrestling fan knows that Curt Hennig was the most naturally gifted in ring performer of all time. And definately the closest thing any sport(s entertertainment) has had to its ideal competitor. Truely exceptional. Babe Ruth, Muhammad Ali, Pele, Curt Hennig.

  • @angrydentist well not quite babe ruth of wrestling for fuck sakes but he was really good
