  • Also, in Europe Jews were not merely seen as just another religion. Throughout european history Jews were treated as a different race (semitic/middle eastern race). Jews looked different than white Europeans. Though some were hard to be recognized as Jews because of assimilation, some Jews could easily be distinguished as semitic.

  • In one your videos you mentioned that Judaism is not a race but its a religion. The simple correct answer to it is; JUDAISM IS BOTH A RACE AND A RELIGION.

It is a race because the Hebrews/Israelites originated from middle east. After the destruction of second temple, Jews scattered to Europe and Africa including Ethiopia.

It is a religion because, over 2000 years of history, many people in Europe have converted or intermarriage with Jews.

SO JUDAISM IS BOTH A RELIGION AND A RACE

  • Revelation 2:9 "I know thy works and tribulation, and poverty, but thou art rich, and I know the blasphemy of them that say they are Jews, and are not, but are the Synogogue of Satan.

  • @HeavenlyInspired What a bizarre and disrespectful comment. The post is fine, if you don't like it turn in off and STFU.

  • I can just hear that orchestra behind you. Quick get that man an arranger! Peace.

  • Look, I tell people this all the time. My looks, my voice, my entire being - it's not perfect. But my Creator is! If you have any complaints, why not take it up with that who creates me!

May G-d Almighty bless us all to stop judging each other and to start loving each other like the brothers we really are...

  • I'm so sorry, my meaning must have been lost in translation. There was nothing hostile or judgemental (to English ears anyway) in what I wrote. In fact, was positively entering into it and expanding the sound in my head. Again, Peace / shalom.

  • Oh, sorry about that. Posting videos on here I have become overly sensitive :(

In that case, thanks for the kind words and may G-d Almighty bless you in everything that you do.

  • Not at all, thank you for your efforts with the videos and sharing your warm thoughts with the wider world.

One tentative suggestion concerning a possible video subject: What are your feelings about the 'immanence' of G-d in the world? ...I'm thinking along the lines of 'ein sof' in kabbala and the thought of the Besht, and its contrast with the ideas of the Rambam. I personally find panentheism a profoundly comforting (and artistically inspiring) metaphysical idea. What about you?
