And seriously that guy wasn't crazy to begin with, hyper, but really not crazy, the small guy just runs away without letting the guy even explain himself, the big guy just tried a lot to call the guy and then rushed to say hi and introduce himself but couldn't do that without the small guy have a paranoia fit. So it makes us question whose really crazy. Normal people don't usually run in terror from supposed strangers who want to talk to them.

@MrEmadshalabi Although, the craziness on that big guy's part was that when the guy ran in terror he followed instead of taking a hint right then and there, and with the chest-showing, I mean, we know he just wanted to show a surgery stitch to tell the other guy he donated an organ to him like Xaqwais had said, but the big guy apparently doesn't know how that looks to people witnessing it, especially before he explains all of this... (Shudders.)

What it is, is that the smaller guy got an organ transplant from the bigger one. Smalls doesn't recognize Bigs and starts to run away. When they get to the fence, Bigs realizes that Smalls simply doesn't remember. At 1:07 you can see him say "it's me! Look" or something along those lines. He shows him the scar, but Smalls is just too paranoid and runs without thinking. Bigs gets pissed at that point and actually want to hurt him 'cause he's mentally hurt.

And whole video is a self-fulfilling prophecy; the small man thought the guy hitting him was inevitable and that's what caused his paranoia and this paranoia actually ends up getting him hit. Although I can't fully blame him at 1:11, if that happened to me I would run and scream or find something heavy and fatal so his garments stay on.

I think the guy with long hair may have been in an accident or something involving the smaller guy, hence the stitches on the long haired guy's body. The long haired guy says hello to the smaller guy, but the smaller guy has possibly forgotten who he is and thinks he's just a random guy on the street. He judges him by his looks and runs away from him. I'm not sure about the ending where the long haired guy punches him, maybe it's out of anger or hurt?

I think they idea might stem from the buisness relationship They Might Be Giants had with Cartoon Network, with the latter producing music for the former at one stage (see They Might Be Giants - Courage the Cowardly Dog). Certainly I wouldn't be at all surprised if Ed partially inspired the behaviour of the "crazy bastard" in this song.
