  • Yet it may also combined with a Uyghur custom that sending Doppa(Uyghur hat) as a gift by a girl to a guy. Now anyone sends Doppa as a gift to others(still mostly girls), but originally only girls send Doppa because Doppa is the work of Uyghur women.

  • Thanks! This dance was came from a very ancient style Uyghur game which will be performed at Meshrep(kind of gathering). The performers should be a boy and a girl, they will start to make poems(improvised),if one of them stops to make, the other(i think only girls take the floral waist belt,not the boy)punchs with the belt with a dance move(not that real punch)
