Comments on comments: I think people who call foul when speeds are adjusted during these comparisons are morons. Songs are still similar even when they are in different keys or at different speeds. Adjusting them helps listeners hear where the similar melodies are. (No one's trying to scam anyone, joeyc09.) Also, while these songs are like 'U Can't Touch This', they're also similar to another 80s thief - Falco's 'Der Kommissar' (made into a hit in the English-speaking world by After the Fire).

Nesmith's song Cruisin' came out like 2 years before "Superfreak". Now funny thing is that Rick James got paid (and is still getting paid) over a million dollars in royalties by Mc Hammer for using that same exact beat in "U Can't Touch This". I think Nesmith should hall these guys to court.
