  • how can anyone dislike such a lovely song???

  • My song no body elses ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • The title of the song is actually For The Good Times. It was written by Kris Kristofferson and first recorded by him.

  • i was a drummer for several country bands on the texas gulf coast in matagorda and surrounding counties back in the 60's and 70's, and i can't tell you how many times i played this song, people would request it everytime we played, i got very emotional playing it and i was just a kid of 14 years old....ah the good times..domingo perales

  • It is a beautiful song written by Kris Kristoffersen but this cover here is not by Jim Reeve at all and although this a good one my favorite version of it ,is by Elvis Presley who did a very good rendition of the song be it in studio or live in concert.

  • One of the most beautiful songs!. Thank you for posting it.

  • Thanks for posting this old favorite. I remember punching this one in on the juke boxes when I was just a young kid. It was a nice melody back then and still is now.

  • My Grandad used to sing this song. It was played at his funeral. <3 I miss him everyday x

  • @OMGARGH ..."the Maori in New Zealand have a saying "when an old man passes away.. a library is lost "".. there is also a great native tree called the KAURI.. and the Maori say "A great kauri has fallen"

  • @OMGARGH My mother also loved this. We layed her to rest monday.....

  • This is the great Ray Price. No one could do it like he did and the real title is For The Good times

  • @ERNIEVEER

Well it for sure aint Jim Reeves. Lol!

  • This is the great Ray Price. No one could do it like he did

  • You COULD always flag it as having a misleading description. This is a nice copy of the Ray Price recording of a Kris Kristofferson song, but Jim Reeves was long dead before Kristofferson ever wrote his first song.

  • This song would have been ideal for Jim but sadly he died before it was written. This is not Jim Reeves (no-one could mistake his voice for anyone else) and yet it is still on youtube as him. Why isn't this sorted out by now?

  • This is Ray Price singing this song.

  • Doesn't really sound Jim Reeves at all, still a good song though, but perry Como did the best version I think!!!!

  • This is not Jim Reeves and the song is called For The Good Times!!

  • THIS IS NOT JIM REEVES.....The song is by Ray Price, - it is a great one. I don't think that Jim ever recorded this song, too bad.

  • THIS IS NOT JIM REEVES.....The song is by Ray Price, - it is a great one. I don't think that Jim ever recorded this song, too bad. Chilliwack

  • Thought it was`t Jim.

  • I agree this is not Jim, somebody change this shit !!!

  • Jim could have done a great job on this song. So sad he died at the height of his career

  • This is Ray Price singing. Wish Jim could have had a version of this.
