@SimplyAnomalous Well,the best way to respond this is by using my own example.I am a Hebrew,but I believe in Jesus as Mesiah.The Mesiah we are waiting for is himself..again..not as poor or crucified,but as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.Maybe Orthodox Jewish belive I am wrong.But hey,I know Hashem is real in my life and I am a jewish too. About Islam,ummm,they deni Jesus as Mesiah,and have stolen part of the Torah for their own religion..I don;t think that's right.

@Josedehesa I beg your pardon but you're misinformed about Islam. We (I'm Muslim btw) don't deny Jesus as the Messiah; we believe that he is a prophet sent by Allah with the message of Christianity. Also, the Qur'an didn't steal anything from the Torah. It is our belief that the true message of the Torah (and the Bible for that matter) has been distorted, which is why Allah sent Muhammed with the message of Islam, and decided to presevere his religion and prevent it from distortion.

@Josedehesa As for your first point, I understand what you mean. There are different diversions of Judaism that have significantly different beliefs. All religions have such diversions, even Islam. For example, Shei'e Muslims believe that Muhammed is a fraud and that his cousin is the true prophet. They accuse Gabriel of treason, Aisha of adultry, and some other stuff.
BTW, I'm not Anti-Semitic in case you might think I'm trying to offend you or something.

@PeterYos for me, it's having a Jewish background. but that's maybe because I consider myself a Jewish Atheist :) everyone can convert to Judaism, but I think being a Jew is something you are born with. It's in my genes, 6000 years of living in closed communities will do that to you. But i guess different people will give you different answers.

If you find it that you relate more to Judaism and you feel like doing mitzvahs, pray in a synagogue and rest on Saturdays then just do it :)
If you want it to be "official" then go to some orthodox rabbi and ask him to convert.
After that, Due to your family linage, you can even do "Aliyah" and get an Israeli citizenship.
