  • Balk, you didnt come set

  • its easier to throw it over your head then side arm like he is. you will snap your elbow

  • i mean at 1:44

  • at 1:47 that was pretty good! props

  • 0:14 power finger aka: he just flipped us off lol

  • you suck?

  • Horrible mechanics!!

  • He just flicked us...

  • @laz3rb33m that's not true if you throw it with the correct mechanics it does nothing to your arm it is all about grip and pulling down with your arm and getting on top of the ball NOR around and twisting your arm which is how you hurt your elbow because it applies strain to the tendon and ulnar nerve in the elbow but once you have correct mechanics you will be fine.

  • God Bless Baseball.

  • @earz311 a curveball is an example of a breaking pitch

  • anyone who reads this-this isnt recommended for anybody under the age of 14-15, because you can really hurt your arm. Even as a highschool pitcher, I rarely throw breaking balls because too many will kill your arm

  • @laz3rb33m Not true. I play on a 16u baseball team and I just turned 14. The coach agrees that with the right mechanics a curveball doesn't hurt your arm. I have thrown a curveball for 2 years and my arm has never been in any pain. I strike out 16 year old batters with my curveball. My coach and teammates love it.

  • not very much break..

  • More like a sinker leaning toward a two seamer

  • @AverageJoeJunior Why do they make ANY videos?? They're incredibly lame

  • its kinda more of a curveball :/

  • kinda knows what going on, should teach how to release the breaking pitch, would improve his video quality

  • side arm?

  • @rudman123

    I agree

  • video should be called How to throw a Home Run pitch in baseball.

  • Dammit expertvillage I am trying to do research on how to really throw a pitch not this... you have WAY TOO MANY VIDEOS SPAMMED INTO YOUTUBE and I can't fine any videos to help me get an actual good grade on my PE presentation.. ATLEAST MAKE THE VIDEO EASILY VISIBLE

  • ill tell you why it idnt break he holds it like a two seam fastball

  • worst demo I have ever seen- didnt show the kids how to break there wrist- idiot

  • all your doing is throwing it at the ground

  • thelbqa

  • This should be thrown against all 4 seams, not 2. That's why it barely breaks.

  • IDIOT

  • good vid teaches u really well

  • Comment removed

  • dude throw regular dont ruin your arm slickbaseballer07 is right

  • @skitmaster128 thanks for the thumbs up

  • i agree i wasn't the best breaking ball but it gave me the picture on the whole breaking ball thing

  • i struck out 11 of 12 batters on this diamond two years ago

  • where are you from?

  • if the curveball had a retarded cousin that has no movement this would be it.

  • maybe u mean breaking elbow pitch!!

  • All this criticism of these videos gets very old. Half the people who comment on these have never gotten beyond little league baseball. Their is really no right or wrong way to approach mechanics. There are only a few things you need to achieve whether hitting or pitching. We don't care how you get there, just get "there". As long as the end result is a healthy deliver, strikes, outs and making a hitter "miss", you've done your job. Lumley is right on. Novices need not comment.

  • fuck you faggot id like to see u play

  • i reply to these videos all the time and i am a junior in high school and im getting looked at by Coastal Carolina, Winthrope, VCU, and Auburn so dont say half the pople that comment havent gotten past little leagues cuz some things people post may help others. So just be careful what you say

  • that had no break

  • If you were actually able to pitch a breaking ball, that catcher would be wearing shin guards because the break would be so nasty that he would be afraid of taking one off the shins.

  • hey dip shit your teaching them how to snap there elbows if they watch this there going to ruin there arms forever

  • hey dipshit, fuck off!

  • no dip shit how about you fuck off or better yet go screw you mom o wait you cant b\c you dont have one

  • ... okay, if you are so unhappy about what this guy is doing in the video, then fuck off. dont call him a dipshit just cause youre unhappy about something. and jesus; for any littleleauger to be developed enough to dominate games they have to learn breaking balls. people are less cautious abuot hurting elbows. aand NO this video is not going to make arms ruined forever -_- it actually helps and shows us proper form

  • @slickbaseballer07 im a young pitcher. how will it hurt my arm

  • @sportsguy61199 ya i was in double A first year and i struck every one on basicly with a curve or a fast ball. only 2 pitches i new about and i struck em out. dur dur

  • @slickbaseballer07 to be fair, he never said "throw side arm like i do." everyone has their own style. And he's not even a true side arm, more hybrid. I know your point, but come on...

  • very good info on how to hold the ball and the arm speed but he did not say what to do with the wrist. Keep it stiff and fingers on top of the ball! You do not need a lot of break just late break. Surprise!

  • cool me too!

  • Im not even a pitcher, i've just always wanted to see how to throw one.

  • I hope that they dont teach there catchers to catch and throw like that because that is very very wrong

  • Your absolutely right

  • mine looks like it's going behind you but it sharply curves into the strike zone

  • thats about a 3 foot break

    you wish lying faggot

  • hes throwing a spinner lol those get hit outta the park

  • good advice

  • that didn't break at all it was straight

  • you blow you throw it like 40 MPH

  • wow i love how so many people are like omg im so much better. So u suck really badly and u know it but u have to make everybody think that ur good so u say that

  • yea i kinda agree but they probably are better those are really bad pitches lol

  • I know 5 Pitches

    Fastball Control 85

    Chang up Control 60

    Sinker Control 66

    Knuckel Ball control 25

    Cuter Control 70

I had 3 Perfect game and 1 no hitter in Baseball leauge

    22-6 ERA 2.30 That season

    Checked it in the enternet

  • whatever u say, pussy

  • yeah right thats a load

  • im 11 but i dont throw curves but, i throw 64 on the gun:)

  • bull shit

  • what ever you say champ

  • funny i throw a better curve and i dont hold it tht way

  • My curveball breaks way more than that!

    And I'm 14. Haha!

  • thats because you lob it out there remember its not the amount of break its the sharpness that makes it a good or bad pitch

  • probably cause you throw 50 mph Haha!

  • That doesn't make sense...

  • Looks like he's throwing a little side-armed. Should really be bringing the arm/hand over the sholder more. Basically put top-spin on the ball and it will break more.

  • to get it to break more... just hold it tyhe same way except on the fatter parts of the seams. it will catch more seams making it break more

  • It didnt really break much

  • @12ctqb12 Practice, don't try to throw it hard

  • @12ctqb12 looks like a fastball... accept for the 3rd one

  • @12ctqb12 its a power curve

  • wOoOooOw...dats da coolest!!!

  • i agree your middle finger is your power finger

  • THATS WHAT WE CALL THE BP CURVE

  • reppin baseball canada i like it

  • dont follow tht it dont work i tried it

  • man isnt that a slider whats the differnce !

  • did it break at all?

  • yes it did...dur

  • im a big pitcher so i use the trickiest pitch. it looks like it goes down the middle but breaks left so the batter cant hit it.

  • its a nice pitch and almost everyone he threw did its job, it either was off the plate and broke inside corner or was outside and broke off the plate a breaking pitch should NEVER be hit if its hit u threw it wrong its designed to get someone to look or to chase if they hit it ur location was bad

  • ummm unless your just trying to keep it low, in which a grounder would do just fine. not everybody has the big strikeout Barry Zito curve

  • thats not a curve you idiot

  • hes throwin a slider

  • its like a two seam but with bigger break.

    Good Vid

  • good video, asshole commentary

  • Pretty good

  • if you cant see the break, your an idiot

  • as for those who say its not breaking. he has glove signals, like all pitchers, for his pitches. glove to the left, slider, glove down, curve, glove up, fastball. he's demonstrating how to keep it unreadable, so he's throwing all 3 pitches

  • thats not the right way to throw it, the ball should look like the same rotation as a fastball but should be spinning forward

  • your a drunk bastard

  • the ball is supposed to have a dot on it

  • ther are quite a few of different pitches that break. for instance a 12-6 rotation curve doesnt have a dot visible to the batter. it all depends on the rotation

  • yeah im sayin like if you throw a bad curve there is gonna be a large dot...you dont want to have a dot because then the batter knows what your throwin..but sometimes there is a small dot

  • im aware of this. i play high school ball. and i pitch. iv seen my fare share of good and bad breaking balls

  • the only one tht kinda looked like it brok was at 1:37 =s

  • theres no break....

  • dude thats a fastball

  • looks like a fastball to me

  • It's breaking but it's a sharp break so it's hard to tell but when you're hitting against a sharp breaking ball because it will strike you out lol

  • thats weak and u played for team canada

  • hey, whats the difference between a curveball and a breaking ball????

  • Before watching this I thought it was only the speed of the pitch...but I don't see any difference with what he's throwing

  • ok ok thank u ha ha:)

  • me gusta mucho ese video..!!

  • that would be kool if u hitted him in the face!!!!!!!!

  • that would be kool if u learndeded to speak right!!!!!!!!

  • ha ha thats was funny shit ha ha

  • lol

  • LOL power finger middle finger

  • how fast is hits ??

  • his pitches dont break very much.....

  • Yeah, but he's varying between a curve and a 2seam so it won't change much unless he's a technical pitcher. Aside, he's making a demo, so he's not pushing it and I can tell you that getting a longer stride with a nice arm movement like his can make it slide way more.

Also, it looks liek more drop than slide so if he's on a 1-7 you won'T see it grip like a slider even though he's 3/4up.

  • nice reppin team canada baseball shirt and hat

  • thats a cutter for sure

    not a curve

  • He is right handed. it curves away from a righthanded hitter. it can't be a cutter. a cutter would do the opposite

  • that's a two-seam fastball u noob

  • wtf? if u call people noobs in baseball, u must be a fuckin nerd or u dont play baseball....this isnt a video game

  • ha ha yeah really

  • baseball sucks and all these throw seem ridiculous

  • then why are u looking at these videos u punk lol

  • is it necessary to act like such a faggot when you're throwing that pitch? does looking like a fairy make it break?

  • ball four

  • everyone saying omg its not moving that much... first off like most people figured out he is throwing more of a cutter than a curve ball...and second you only have to full the hitter a 1/4 of an inch ...thats the differance between a line drive to a ground ball or a pop up..

  • good slider/cutter

  • This guys knows what he's talking about about, he just throws heat. If his breaking ball is around 77-81 mph I'm guess his fastball should be in the low 90's high 80's.

  • more like mid-high 90s.

  • More like mid-80s you twat.

  • u obviously never played baseball. if you throw an 80 mph curveball your fastball is in the mid 90's. bobby if your curveball is near 80, how is your fastball only 5 mph faster? make sure you know what you are talking about next time before you post something that makes you look stupid.

  • hes ok at least hes got something

  • every batters dream curve, floating thing coming in on an angle with barly and break XD

  • kabooom!!! GRAND SLAM WALKOFF WORLD SERIES WIN!!!!

  • i think its more like a cutter

  • he ant throwing a curve ball

  • u must suck at batting cus you can't read a pitch for crap.

  • hey it's moving. What he's throwing is a little more like a slurve with the two seams working. A loopy curve can break a little better when thrown hard, or arc much more than what he's throwing if thrown towards the batters head low to mid speed.

  • this is more like a slider or really good cutter

  • opps I watched it again, follow the seem .75 inches on the middle finger forward and make the middle of the 4 seems curve.

  • I agree, throwing a 2 seem curveball? Any curve ball artist knows the presser point is in the middle of one of the 4 seems. Unsimply put, if you follow the seem he puts his middle finger on 1.3 inches you'll find it.

  • he was just throwing a cut fastball wen thrown faster then this it breaks away from right handed batters good pitch if u pitch fast its a regular 2 seam if u bring ur thumb up to the side of the ball instead of the bottom

  • location goes out the window, its hard to hold a ball like that..... im still trying to figure out how to throw a good 2 seam.. but its a shame i think my chances for baseball are done... 17 and i only throw 80-82... but i do have curve/change which can be thrown for strikes... but im trying to figure out this 2 seam. LOCATION IS KEY!

  • Hey Greg Maddux always say he could throw a 100mph but why. Don't give up I don't even have a 2seam and you don't really need one all you need is to control your pitches and your all good Tim Wakefeild fast ball is 80 to 82 and he still gets batters I can throw 98mph but I choose not too speed is not the key control is no matter how hard you throw.Make your pitches work for you keep throwing that curve and change and as long as you have a fastball your good you don't need a 2seam.

  • thats what we call spinny shit, it normally drops nicley onto your bat and drops even more when it gets past the outfield fence

  • There was no break on anyone of those! Not to mention that's not the right grip.

  • all of those are fastballs, none of them have any drop or curve

  • hella good pitcher

  • Could you tell me how you threw that last couple pitches??

  • this video really helps i wish he could teach me to pitch one on one
