i´m not really a fan but "SHOWCASE TRICKS"?? lol he is just THE BEST SKATER so far. think about it: 25+ years of skateboarding and he is ripping harder than ever and everyone else, while other pros in his age start cruisin pools cause they get old or so. hell, he was even one of the best streetskaters of the early 90´s! he mostly broke every record in skateboarding while risking his live, maybe just cause he was bored and had to progress somehow.

No kidding. I'm 34 and for a long time when I was a kid there was no Danny, just Tony. All the other vert pros were faddish with style and airs, but Tony was cutting edge and technical. And he ollied more on vert than the rest. He helped mainstream ollies.

Other than the Madonna, Hawk didn't really inovate tricks, he just stole them, and made them look lanky and weird. The double varial Mctwist in questionable is testament to that, hawk heard about Danny doing the single, so he stated doing them, so Way threw in the double.
I never liked hawk's mctwists, they are just 540s.

My point is there was a lot going on in vert skating before Way made it onto the scene, and that was in large part because of Hawk.
