Juan is a miracle. Born with a cleft palate, he lost both legs from the hip, after his home burned. He was only two. His Dad walked out shortly after. His Mother died when he was eight. Not wanted by relatives, he lived on the street; until he was found by an orphanage. Sponsored by 'Friends of Orphans,' a group in Chicago, the children came to Chicago to sing a concert. Juan was noticed, then age 18. He was given free reconstructive therapy, new prosthetic legs, & a guitar. The rest is history.
