Actually, I have to correct something here. Although Geller did bend the spoon with both hands the moment he stood up to show the people, the spoon did not begin to bend upwards at the first because it was prebent. Don't just take my word for it, prebend a spoon until it's practically at it's breaking point, then straighten it and commense rubbin. It will NOT bend upwards, it will still remain stiff because the rubbing is still not enough exserted force.

It IS a trick. This video is not a good example but there is a video on youtube who explains it all. On that vid is to see that Uri Geller comes into a show and there are spoons allready on the tables. What HE needs is his own spoon (where he does something with to make the spoon elastic).
