I love MLP:FiM, but I wonder how the rest of this band (Other than Ashleigh Ball) feels about being forever associated with it, now. It wouldn't irritate me, personally. Anything that gets people to listen to my music, I'm all for. Some people want to only be known for their own thing, though. I guess I can't judge, either way. Great song! Going to see if I can find an album or two of theirs.
