Also, the Kiran guy below seems interesting... All his posts get deleted, except one about the LEFT shoulder dropping/rising. Thats pretty much run of the mill for any good player hitting a lofted iron/wedge high. Weird comment...
weird conversation... he is swinging a club with 45-50 deg loft, and looks like he might be trying to hit it high. I am not sure what armchair analysts are really going to be able to bring to this argument ;-) at least with not seeing the result?
My comment was simply meant to show how even the best player can make a biomechanically better movement. This would be true for ANY golfer - we all have joints designed to bend and twist in fixed planes. For instance, the right shoulder is lower than the left at address and impact. When it is higher at top of backswing, a golfer has to drop the right shoulder, turn the body forwards, then drop the arms! 3 moves to be made in a fraction of a second. See 'Understanding Tiger's Karma' on youtube!
When the left shoulder has to drop so much below its level at address, then lift up again, HIGHER than its level at address, too many separate movements must all happen in quick succession to make correct contact, ie the swing is subject to perfect timing. There is less option for forward thrust and more power in such a swing.

his hand action through impact is so sweet. turns that club face down, squares it up and kills the ball.

Great video. Such a good swing. Kiram, what you said doesn't make any sense. You can't get any better than this.

@kmo1818 yeah, you can. he hit this ball fat. that ball is on a tee, and the divot starts just under the back of the ball. watch it again.
