  • Oasis Is Just Brilliant Live! There Up There With The Very Best This World Has Ever Seen.

I liked Be Here Now Aswell, But Definatly Maybe And Wats D Story? Are The Best Works By Far! Even If All D Other Albums Wernt Great, There Was Always 1 or 2 Absolute Gems On Them. I Cannot Wait 4 Noel To Release An Album!

  • LEGEND!!!!!!!!!!

  • is noel useing a auto wah for end part of the solo

  • these were absolutely fucking MAD times for them. total hype from everyone, loads of drugs taken, massively loud...and long recordings, and oasis at the height of their fame. nothing will ever be as epic as this album was when it was released.

  • @CHELSEA9636 really? miming??????????!!!! LMFAO!!!!! theres more chance of bubbles the monkey doing a duet with Ian fuckin Brown mate!!

  • 5:10 - the guitar solo in this live version is fucking mindblowing AND NOEL FUCKING KNOWS IT

  • Love this song

  • @CHELSEA9636 miming? :D

  • @CHELSEA9636

    lol liam doesn't mime

    lmfao

  • 'Comin in a mess goin out in style '

  • love this song o.o

  • Oasis Oasis oasis

  • Anybody have the time, knowledge, and patience to translate the morse in the background of the Official Vid? (if it actually is Morse.)....

  • Be Here Now is a great album, but it was preceded by two masterpieces so the press panned it, like The Godfather, Part III.

  • liam was dancing like Ian Brown in the instrumental part

  • I remember getting this album around 2000, and fucking loving it, then I heard that t's apparently considered a dud. Well fuck that shit!, how can an album with fade in out, don't go away, d'you know what i mean, my big mouth, stand by me, I hope I think I know, girl in the dirty shirt and all around the world be considered bad?

fuckin dicks with no ears, Proper Oasis fans loved this album, the squares who only like bloody wonderwall didn't. Every single from this era had class b sides aswell.

  • fucking good song!!!!love itttttttttt

  • yeah Be Here Now is a great album, perfect book end to the that era of the band

  • @benforshay i agree :)

  • liam was on form here his voice was amazing at this gig

  • Man of Misery can go suck it. This song is proper rock.

  • TUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNEEEEEE!! And i dunno why....but BHN is probably my favourite album!!! Its fantastic! And yeh i have the whole collection of albums! Everything! Oasis were superb! Hope the lads sort out their differences but i doubt it. Unfortunately Liams voice is got to shit now too.

Why this album was crucified by the press will always be a mystery to me........

  • @bonoman1982 the only reason bhn was crucified by the press because it wasn't morning glory but its defo in my top 3 albums the top one morning glory and the other one dont believe the truth

  • @1993Andr3w1993 no definately maybe in ur top 3?? anyway, yea the press knew after the 1st 2 albums they were dealing with the best band in the world so hyped up BHN to such a ridiculous extent that it could never live up to their expectations media wise.....then a month or so they slated it as if it was the worst record ever......fickle fuckers, while I'll admit some tunes weren't as strong as others tracks like DYKWIM, MBM, Fade in/out, TGWWTDS, IHITIK and even parts of magic pie were epic

  • Easily my favorite Oasis tune.

  • his people wont fly throooooooooooooough the storm

  • be here now was a fantastic record.

  • Liam 0:25 COME ON, fuckin mad fer it.

  • 13th birthday yesterday.. Time really flies...

  • @liam91ful Funny, lately I've been thinking that myself.

  • Wow, that stage was rediculous.

  • Hey Oasis fans! D' You Know What I Mean?

  • Fucking immense. This just makes me want to be in a band and make fuckoff quality songs!

  • FUCKIN MEGA!

  • Be Here Now is a long album, and even Noel has said too long, and he actually wishes it wasnt that long, but in my opinion, it was other then it being too long, a Brilliant album

  • Those vocals just blow my brains out! M E G A...

  • fukin amazing :)

  • It's great!!! But the sound was taken from Hammerstein, New York 1997.

  • @yayoasis no actually your wrong the sound from hammerstein was taken from this very gig live at earls court. this gig was either the 26th, 27th, or 28th of Sept 97' and hammerstein wasnt until Oct 7th or 8th 97'

  • Comment removed

  • @airmedi27 I'm not wrong: Search this: "Oasis - D'You Know What I Mean - Hammerstein 1997 (7) " Then compare the audios from sec. 46 (and hear Liam).

The video was taken from Earl's Court and the audio was taken fron Hemmerstein (NYC). After this gig they edit the "video" promo

    Bye!

  • Comment removed

  • @yayoasis ok ok that could be legit. im curious tho how do you know this? lol thats cool tho

  • @airmedi27 I'm sound and acoustic engineer and a big oasis fan. In Earl's Court video I heared a diference in the audience souns (sec. 23 - 24). Then compare differents versions. And after Liam presents the song he says something I can't understand. It's the same he says in Hemmerstein (But you know the Hemnmerstein is an audience record). So I think in 3 Earl's Court video promos the audio was taken from Hemmerstein.

    Bye!

  • In 1995 oasis made a very good song called wonderwall, but In 1997 they made wonderwall become perfect... D'you know what I mean? :)

  • the dogs bollocks.

  • this is heavy!

  • noel is loving it.

  • did noel make a fuck up on the last part of the solo ? just wonderin lol

  • "Be here now" my fav oasis album!

  • Be Here Now is my favourite oasis albums. No, i'm not jocking!!! It is my favourite oasis album because 1997 was the most important and beautiful year in my life (I was 16). oh.......1997.........what a year......what a great year.......ok computer........be here now........i' m a barbie girl! hahahahahahaha!!!!!

  • Step off the train all alone at dawn back in to the hole where i was born sun in the sky never raised an eye to meeeee 'what a lyric'

  • Liam at his best ! Noels instrumental was insane

  • 0:22 so insane cool!

  • Is Liam's white sweat shirt from Ralph Lauren brand ???

  • Just finished watching it. Truly is one of the best versions of DYKWIM? live.

  • I wish noel and liam woulda been my cousins, i woud get so much ass.

  • this song isn't really a live song, with the all production on the studio version

  • @TheMrbollox it's a good point, but only inasmuch as I think we're all used to most oasis songs having limited additional layers & production...so live, they all sound good. DYKWIM? is an exception. I still think it's an awesome song to play live and the guitar solos sound great. We can give them a mulligan when it comes to not carrying every drum loop and guitar layer onto the live version.

  • ...and, interestingly, I felt this way about Don't Look Back in Anger for a long time, before they finally started giving is justice on the SOTSOG tour with a proper piano intro. But then I thought, "hm, it sounds too light whereas the studio version sounds just right". Guess I'll never be happy when it comes to DLBIA because that is by far my fave Oasis tune ever!

  • to everyone who thinks that be here now was a failure

    d'you know what i mean?

  • that guitar solo was fucking IMMENSE!!! Full of attitude and testosterone

  • I don't really care for what you believe

So open up your fist or you won't receive

The thoughts and the words of every man you'll need

  • liams voice is amazing in this!

  • LIAM was a fking animal on vocals back then......

  • I MET MY MAKER I MADE HIM CRY!!!

    i love it!!! 1:53

  • Actually only the Media says its a dissaster.

I've still not met anyone yet who doesnt loves Be here now

  • liam is another planet at this gig coked to eyeballs hah

  • Be Here Now is the 2nd best Oasis album. Bar none.

  • Man I wish I could of been there, this band defined a part of the 90's. If they didn't show us what there sound was, there would have been a different wave today.

  • he was pissed like a fart here lol

  • This was the first Oasis song I've ever heard. I remember watching the video on MTV. It remains my favorite.

  • Noel hated the record because he said he didn't like what the result was after doing "So much fookin' Charlie." They don't even play songs from this album anymore — hell, I don't know if they have really decided to call it quits.

  • hahaha I remember all this concert, liam was fucking drunk :P

  • fuck everybody who think that BE HERE NOW is disaster!! Make album like that and then say something bad on it! bands like Colplay, Blur, U2 or Green Day never did and never won't do better album than this so shut up!

  • @96Dano fuckking right! totally agree!

  • I got Be Here Now 2 years ago and was sceptical to say the least based on all the criticism. Then i actually listened to it and realised it isn't disasterous at all, just not as good as the first 2. All around the world, this, stand by me. don't go away, girl with a dirty shirt and fade in out are quality, The rest are either ok or sometimes poor (magic pie and reprise). Hardly the worst album in the world ffs.

  • This song isn't really made to be a performed live. The overproduction on the album version is what makes it great.

  • love that shot of Noel at 3.48

  • haha I love that Liam's intro :D

  • hope everyone paid close attention, because we'll never see another band like that in our lifetime. oasis ftw

  • About there Dad isn't it...

  • Comment removed

  • whats the meaning of the lyrics? I cant understand it.. love oasis btw

  • @macarturius

I think it's about forgetting your past (Don't look back 'cause you know what you might see) and faith/religion (I met my maker/I made him cry)

  • I dont think guigsy stopped smiling throughout the whole of the song

  • noel looks like he's marching at 1:12

  • look into the wall of my mind`s eye...

  • Be Here Now? Disaster? WTF? Best album in my country

  • it IS my favorite oasis album

  • Everybody always talks about Be Here Now like it was a disaster. It wasn't. It actually was quite good. The critics gave it bad reviews because it wasn't as good as Morning Glory. The press ate it up. Made Be Here Now sound like the most disaster record in rock history. It's a great album and remains one of my favorite Oasis albums.

  • @HonkyCat90 Be Here Now was, musically, the best album written by Oasis. The songs, which I'm sure you'll agree, just weren't as catchy as the ones on Morning Glory and Def Mayb, which is why they weren't recieved as well. :)!

  • @lawriemanc Yes, in a way. But Be Here Now has, as you said, so many well written songs and beautiful melodies.

  • @HonkyCat90 mate the critism of this album started cos noel sed it sounded like 5 lads in a studio playing like they dont give a shit and he expected it to be a bigger success than the previous two albums, ive seen the lists for best albums of all time and be here now is often in ethier the top 10 or 20, this is a top album

  • @HonkyCat90 to be fair no album could of bettered Morning Glory

  • @waseywizard Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying Be Here Now is better than Morning Glory. I'm just saying it's a great album and a very underrated one.

  • @HonkyCat90

agrees completely with above statement ;-)

  • @HonkyCat90 Your so right, thats also the same for standing on the shoulder of giants

  • @HonkyCat90 y fue muy criticado... una de las razones es porq el promedio de los temas es de 7 minutos..

temas como All Around the World no puedo terminar de escucharlo... pero el Disco es excelente para mi! saludos

  • @HonkyCat90

imagin any other band making an album with i hope i think i know, d'you know what i mean, all around the world, dont go away, stand by me, etc etc and it would probably be album of the year,

this remains my second favourite album after definetely maybe

  • @HonkyCat90 Good comment, I havent heard a better album since...It was just that DM and MG were so good the crits started panning BHN...it was fooking class!

  • does any1 know what liam says at 0:40?

  • i really dont know

i cant understand it at all

  • i got no idea....sometimes speak the same language doesn t help lol

  • This is unbelieveable ? be here now got slated because they thought knebworth was as big as they could get. and they went and just fuckin smashed it again with another album, with preformances like this, the press aint got nothing on ya

  • Incredible performance

  • life forever...rock n roll is my soul

  • Did you go anywhere in Manchester....?

  • i fucking worship oasis

  • I went as mad fer it as to have their name tattoed down me forearm in 2000!!

    with you ALL the way!!!!!

  • I think it's a pitty that they didn't play more songs from "Be Here Now" live...this songs have so few live versions...or "The Girl In The Dirty Shirt" or "Fade in-out" or "All Around The World" and much more. Anyway...Oasis is the best band ever lived....there will never be better band than oasis

  • I agree!!

if they played Fade in out mor live..

    WHAT a show!!!!!!

Still...cant fault them for what they gave us eh!

  • everyone is pretty and sounds great in their 20's

  • He says "throaty"

  • He said croaky.

  • croaky was the one.

  • this song sounds better live & more with this Liam voice

  • 'GREAT!!!! Why don't they sound like this anymore?!?!

    HAHA!

  • their all coked out

  • amazing XD XD amazing!!!!! best band 4 ever and ever OASIS 4 EVER

  • amazing performance!

    Oasis are gonna live forever..

  • his voice sounds so good compaired to recent times.

  • great great great song but liam is drunk here right?

  • actually i think he's coked out his mind

im pretty sure thats what he says at the start

He appears to whipe his nose and say "a bit cokey but im alright now" or something to that effect

  • im not from england what does it mean cokey?

  • drugged up on columbain marching powder!

  • einfach nur fuckin geil man OASIS = BRITANNIA RULE THE WORLD

  • best band in the world

    legendary

  • The bridge in this song is the best lyric Noel ever wrote. Gets ignored though.

  • oaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasis best band everany fuckin doubt?

  • gmex is way better.

  • These were the days! Bring ´em back!!

  • liam at 5.17 =)

  • He says "croaky at first, but now im mad fer it!" Seeing as how Liam doesn't do rehearsals it would make sense that at the beginning of the set his voiced wasn't warmed up.

Granted, he was on coke at the time I'm sure, but that's not what he says ha.

  • oasis.....one of the best bands in the history of music industry
